What's the best and worst alcoholic beverage you've ever had?

My opinion on booze varies by the month. Right now I like just beer for the most part. When I started I hated beer and loved hard liquor. Then I moved onto mixed drinks. Now I'm on to beer.

I did start wine recently too which has the advantage of being "healthier" and more intoxicating per amount than beer. Also can taste better imho.

I used to drink mad dirty thirties of nasty ice and tall boys of milwaukees beast. My local liqour store doesnt carry thunderbird anymore, I used to really like it, though I could afford much more expensive shit. When I asked where the thunderbird was the attendant got haughty and said "Sir, we dont carry NIGHT TRAIN EITHER!" so I bought a 50 dollar bottle of gin to show him Im not a wino poor ass.

When I go back to wyoming to visit my buddy Ill get some Camo for old times sake.

Also boxes of Peter Vella Chablis, so much better than franzia, that shit is heartburn in a box. Last time I drank wild irish rose I bought a teener of ice and got twacktified and kicked out of my friends house for salting a light bulb and smoking my shit in his living room... the times we had.

I'm really not much of a drinker; don't quite enjoy the buzz, but here we go:

Best: I really love long island iced tea, and I can't seem to think of one that I've appreciated more. I really hate gin, but it's imperceptible.

Worst: Gin tastes like you're drinking pine trees, but I've got to give the prize for worst tasting drink to this crap brewed here in Montreal called URB'N Lili; it's just horrible, with its strangely fruity bouquet giving way to an unexpected aftertaste reminiscent of getting one's mouth washed out with soap. It's the kind of drink you want to offer to your friends so you can see the look on their faces after the first gulp.

Best: Jameson Irish whisky...mmm... or a 50 yr-old tawny port wine... wish I could still afford that :(
Worst: Crown Royal whisky, the 'regular' one, that is instant puke, my friend.

chatreusse (sp?), that green shit, is the worst tasting alcohol i've ever had. i don't know why my friends would line up shots for this at the bar but it got us plenty hammered.

top shelf vodka and whiskey's are my preferred tastes. wyborowa, a polish vodka, is delicious but too expensive and wasteful to guzzle it straight from the bottle.

Best has varied. I used to love Smirnoff Ice or some vodka collins now I don't know what I love.

I do hate vodka with Red Bull though. Abominable combination.

Ive already answered this thread but i just want to say i have recently realllyyyy been enjoying some ice cold mikes hard lemonade. Ahh so god damn refreshing.

I think people might think I'm lame for saying it, but I really enjoy mikes hard lemonade.

Best: A well made irish coffee. Though I love cocktails of all sorts.

Worst: I once gulped down a mouthful of absinthe straight. Was dry gagging for about 15 minutes.

I don't drink much and I think it has to do with the atmosphere I'm in, but:

Best: Vodka of any sort

Worst: Bud light (piss water)

Best: At the moment I am really in to red wine, anything that does not have too much tanin. Love scotish whisky like ardburg, laphroig and lagavulin but only buy two or three bottles a year as it is too pricey to get pissed on. White rusians are easily my favourite cocktail

Worst: Pocheen, which is irish potato moonshine at 70% alchohol content, it gave me and a friend a two day hangover and tastes disgusting.

In light of my malt liquor thread I thought maybe this could be fun. So what's the best and worst thing you've drank?

For me I'm probably going to have to go with...

Best: Belvedere vodka

Worst: Steel Reserve (211)

why you hating on steel reserve, thats like all I drink cuz it's cheap :) ...but worst alcohol beverage I've had would be R&R whiskey, and best would be organic brew
