What's the best and worst alcoholic beverage you've ever had?

I have 2 first place favorites but sense they are both gin's I thought it would be ok.

Best: Citadelle Gin (France) and Bombay Sapphire Gin (England)

Worst: This shit >>> http://www.drinkjoose.com/ (it is like a fruity-fizzy 12% alcoholic beverage that you buy at gas stations, its horrible and gives you a stomach ache and makes your teeth hurt before it'll ever get you drunk)
 
That's my plan! I've got a 12 pack that I actually purchased and such that I'm drinking my second can of PBR from.

Can't argue with good old cheap american lagers. PBR and Miller High Life all day long my friends.
 
^ Yeah beer never could get me drunk, i usually drink beer strictly for the taste and enjoyment of the beverage. I have never started consuming beer with the mindset of getting intoxicated b/c i literally can't drink it fast enough to ever get drunk, just a light buzz SOMETIMES...Well i think we have kind of detracted from what this thread is really about. SO Carry on friends, whats the best and worst alcoholic beverages you've tasted??
 
My old roommate use to buy a 6 pack of some random beer every time she went to get whatever else from the store. She was trying to eventually try all the beer the store had. This meant that we tried a lot of random good beer and a lot of horrible, disgusting beer.

The worst one we ever got was called Big Foot Ale. So gross! We both only drank a sip of ours and poured it out. We tried pawning it off on other people who came over but everyone else had the same reaction (one sip, pour it out). Luckily it was only a 6 pack! So gross...tasted like biter, sour bottled sweat.

That one is a barleywine... Sounds good to me, bet I would like it if it's the same one you're talking about. But someone who doesn't like STRONG beer probably wouldn't.
 
i'm a big fan of the coke and captain. none of that diet coke shit tho. gives coke that needed kick ^_^

worst would have to be steel reserve, that shit takes horrible but i still drink it to get hammered
 
apossible "worst" contender: "baijiou" (spelling? I've forgotten my pinyin) or white liquor that is made from distilling fermented rice. The cheap stuff is fouler and more terrible than any cheap crappy vodka you could find (including popov, which I have tried).
 
The best thing I ever remember drinking was a fancy version of Jack Daniels I think it was called Jack Daniels Single Barrel. In general I rate Jack Daniels as probably my favourite drink, but if it is bourbon and coke I am not choosy.

It is hard to pick a worst because while I LOVE drinking there is a lot I wont really drink, I am not a fan of wine or beer and there is a decent list of brands in both I despise. I think Carlton Cold beers in a can is probably the worst tasting grog to me that I can think of, but a bad experience with it probably just makes it more memorable than other equally shit concoctions.

Oh man, I've been meaning to try some Chinese liquors, but I never end up in the area of those asian markets, and I'm always broke. Also, Potter's vodka is cheaper than popov, and I've drinken enough of that stuff to...bleh let's not think about it (personally I think cheap vodka is like ambrosia compared to cheap Gin). And I believe you drop the o when writing the iou sound, so it would just be jiu...if I remember my pinyin.
 
Best: Jack Daniels :) Cleared 3 bottles this week.

Worst: Johnny Walker Red label, fucking almost threw up taking a warm shot of this.

Yes I am a whiskey drinker. I can't drink anything else.

That sir, is because you have superlative taste. Jack and Johnny are as mainstream as you can get though, have you delved much into smaller brands?

Straight whiskey, no ice, ftw.

Edit: by ice I mean frozen water, not methamphetamine. Feel free do all the meth you want while drinking. Heh, though it usually leads to blackouts and regrettable behavior.

A "cement mixer", courtesy of Canada's prairie regions. They mix vodka and baileys together and they put lime juice in it, then slam the shot glass on the table. The concussive force makes the fat in the baileys separate into a kurdy texture. Then you down it. It's utterly disgusting.
 
Captain and Diet is my staple, sorry !_MDMA!. I'll drink Captain/Coke without an issue, but the preference is Diet Coke.

Lately I've been drinking Pinnacle Whipped Cream vodka with diet/oj. Incredible. But I need the caffeine to keep me up all night...drinking more...
 
"earth'quake" hands down. taste like someone dumped rubbing alcohol in it. 12% strong..thats a beer for steel stomachs
