What's the best and worst alcoholic beverage you've ever had?

In light of my malt liquor thread I thought maybe this could be fun. So what's the best and worst thing you've drank?

For me I'm probably going to have to go with...

Best: Belvedere vodka

Worst: Steel Reserve (211)
 
I don't drink really, but I've never had a gin that didn't go down like poison...
 
Agree that gin is awful. And Schnapps, too.

The only alcoholic drink that I can actually enjoy, however, is beer. Usually I like to drink Dos Equis.
 
I'm going to sound awful here, I'm not even 21 but these are my two.

Best: Cabo Wabo tequila, so smooth with such a relaxing clear headed drunken feeling.

Worst: Natural Ice (I thought it was refrigerated urine, I'm not kidding), worst liquor would probably canadian mist. I remember this friend I use to drink with picked up a half gallon of this canadian mist stuff (it came in a damn plastic bottle only) for like 17 bucks-it was on sale at the store apparently.

but seriously, I'll drink anything. Taaka vodka is pretty low on my list though, any shitty vodka really. I can't stand cheap spiced rum either.... And anything tequila..8(

and OP, steel reserve, really?? best shit out

I haven't had any myself in a while either. These days I normally drink Evan Williams (bourbon), it's like $20 for a handle at bevmo, and it's pretty damned decent for the price (it won an award for best value whiskey or something I think). Though I also drink shit vodka from the corner store when I'm particularly broke.

Another round of best/worst in addition to the first!

Worst: Blanco tequilas.

Best: Pastis (green anise liqueur).
 
Best: Penfolds Grange 84 Shiraz <3

Worst: some home-made moonshine, 90% ethanol. It literally tasted like POISON :D
 
an '82, if i remember correctly, of Dolce Far Niente - this would be the best...(best)
maybe Cliquote Champagne, or - and i forgot my favorite Cognac.!

Oh hells yeh!

Best: Laphroiag - nicest scotch I've ever tasted. Like liquid smoke :)

Close second is Pernod Absinthe, love that shit.

Worst tasting: some cheap chardonnay probably, though have also had some hideous cask wine. Worst for me, toss up between some lebanese arak (was supposedly around 80% alcohol, turned white when water was added - louche effect?) or lab ethanol lol XD
 
Best: Gotta say good old Mr Jack Daniels..

Worst: Bombay Sapphire Gin - That shit made me sing Merry Xmas to about 100 people off a balcony. Not cool :(
 
Best: Captain Morgan 100 proof. I could drink that stuff straight from the bottle all day every day (if it wouldn't kill me, that is).
Worst: Seagrams Extra Smooth Vodka. Without a doubt the most horrifying taste I've ever experienced. And I don't mean just alcohol, I mean the worst taste ever. That vodka still haunts my taste buds from time to time.

+1 for laphroiag. definitely prefer the 15 year old.

worst was the wine they served at an all-inclusive, all-you-can-drink resort in mexico. tasted like they mixed rubbing alcohol and grape juice, and definitely every bit as bad as MD 20/20 or Molson XXX
 
best: top shelf long island for a mixed drink, or Jameson 18 year aged whiskey

worst: earthquake (12% beer, gag in your mouth stuff)
