What's the best album no-one but you has heard of

Dj Krush, Neutral Milk Hotel, Deltron, doc oct, ...


Jeez guys, get more musically literate friends. ;) (though... I am painfully old now, and when i was 17, nobody but me listened to DJ shadow or Hallucinogen.)

I've heard of all the artists you mentioned. I was only familar and fond of Deltron.

Neutral Milk's album gets talked about everyday on 4chan's /mu/. But that's kind of a running joke. I've listened to the album once. Don't really have much of an opinion about it. Need to listen again.

Aesop Rock. I have a couple of tracks, but no albums. I had no idea he was white. I might check him out properly so that I can say I'm a fan of a white rapper that I'm not currently ashamed of. ;)

I saw them in a hole in the wall club back then and they SUCKED UP THE JOINT ( just my opinion)

sorry its just everyone knows sex and candy but the whole cd was great IMO. I think age will play a large role im 21 so people my age are somewhat ignorant about 90s music as we are too young to be bg into music you know?

I think he's a great vocalist and is a huge cult musician but should be more popular. When the bassist died in his first band (Acid Bath -- the bassist was hit by a drunk driver) Dax and the guitarist went on to start Agents of Oblivion, and the drummer and other guitarist started the more well known, less exciting band Goatwhore.

But all of the dax projects are great, including
Acid Bath
Agents of Oblivion
deadboy & the elephantmen
and now he releases music under his own name, Dax Riggs.

Judging by p2p swarm size fairly obsure but maybe not enough for this. Still like it though, sounds like the bastard lovechild of Eddie Van Halen and the B52s.

"Altar" by Sunn 0))) and Boris, my gf and I saw this wednesday (in a free mason temple, @ midnight %)) and it was mindblowing and grim :X
 
Does one actually say "Sunn O Bracket Bracket Bracket", or is there some accepted abbreviation that can be used as a shibboleth to separate ignorant losers from those in the know?
