There is no security checking of intra-state priority mail so it’s a pretty safe bet if you use local vendors. The exceptions are Western Australia and the Northern Territory. I’ve never had an issue and would have plausible denial if something ever was discovered. It all comes in different envelopes. Plus law enforcement doesn’t seem to be pursuing retail amounts via mail.
