Thanku :) yeah i agree, 1 and 4 were my faves... and couldnt agree more, such a waste. i recall reading they had different writers for the 5th onwards, and the last season was such a mess i only watched bits of it, but the last episode i watched all the way through... and then it ended in such a shit way i was almost gobsmacked. infact the people that need their gobsmacked are the bellends who wrote that shite

Shoulda got me to write it, I would have done a better job than those idiots :P I forced myself to watch all of the last season because I convinced myself it would get better and have an amazing ending. How wrong was I? It would have even been better if it had ended at the point where he drove the boat into the storm even, that last scene just killed it even more haha. I try and pretend it never happened 8)

Spot on summer, i thought the exact same thing about the boat and the last scene ruining it even more... what a let down. ah well
 
Finished In The Flesh earlier today, genuinely thought it was a really good series. Had a massive lump in my throat during the final episode, if I wasn't around other people I'm sure I would've shed a tear.

I take it you dont like it? I think its much better if you watch it stoned. :\ I can see that it has all the ingredients of being an epic, sometimes it hits the spot, but sometimes it misses imo.

i think it might have been a big mistake to kill off one of the most likeable and interesting characters in Sean Bean at the end of season 1. Allthough i spose the whole subsequent plot stems from that so i guess it had to happen or they'd have to re-write the rest of it. 8) I think his children are the most likeable characters, especially his youngest daughter (narh not for sick reasons either:sus:) she is awesome. I do like the way the charceters are revealed and developed though, some turn out to be much more likeable and admirable than they appeared at first, whilst the opposite applies to others


I agree that Breaking Bad is probably the best TV series ive ever seen, The Wire and The Sopranos are right up there as well though.
