What's Good on European and African TV v. Walking the Dead

Limitless tv series? That's one of my favorite movies. The idea of a drug like that is a dream.
 
Watched the Fear of the Walking Dead over this last week and rate it shite..

I do like a zombie horror but like some originality.

Inglorious Bastards was much better.
 
There's a programme on BBC Wales Monday evening about Tryweryn n capel celyn 50 years ago. Looking fwd to watchibg that. My mam used to live not so far from there in a place called Bala. We stopped at celyn lake on the way to Pwrlleli. I'm looking fwd to watching this n the flooding.

River on BBC1 @ 9pm on Tuesday nights just started last week. I'm gonna start saving up the episodes to watch them back to back.

I was very impressed with the high quality opening episode. :D It's leagues ahead of the usual police drama fodder of utter crap like The Bill, with its abysmal plots and scripts and actors, and lazy stereotyped characters and scenarios, and unimaginative, old and tired dialogue and plot lines.:\

River is a Detective Inspector who is haunted by visions of murdered people he has some connection with, whether they be former colleagues, victims in some sense, or criminals. It's unusually "deep" for a prime time BBC1 drama, quoting Shakespeare and the like as River reads a lot and he's a very interesting character all round that they have created imo. Kind of like the Bruce Willis film Sixth Sense, in that "he sees dead people" rather than seeing fleeting spectres or ghostly happenings. It doesnt have any gimmicks other than 'the visions' whci makes a refreshing change for BBC polaice dramas, it's so well made that it has quite an emotional impact too.

Watched one ep of fear the walking dead and it seemed shite. then again the walking dead series is overrated shite as well
 
yes i watched it ages ago, when is s2 out?

also have any of u ppl seen mr robot?

i watched beasts of no nation on netflix earlier, it was pretty bleak.

Watched the first episode of mr robot, gonna check out the rest of it

Absolutely fantastic programme... based on Bernard Cornwell's Saxon Stories books. Pretty much the BBCs answer to Game of Thrones.
 
+1 for Narcos...was very disappointed when I finished ep.10 only to realise there were no more. Tried House of Cards but the subject matter just bores the shit of me. Great acting but I gotta love the content. Must get back into The Walking Dead...

Were both Star Trek fans - we had them all on a hard drive that my hubby managed to knack by dropping :( (got a tonne of porn on it also so can't take it to anywhere local to be repaired - kept it for next time I'm travelling somewhere a bit more relaxed).
 
If you want to just get the data that's on it try a data recovery program and see if it connects and gives you access.

If no joy, break the caddy and see if the drive will connect to a pc (either internally or via cable). Sometimes it's just a loose connection with the caddy. If it works, then just buy a new caddy on ebay for about a fiver and stick it in it et voila!

The drive powers up but my notebook's cannot see it - I thought with the recovery program you had to be able to see the drive (I'm clueless with external drives) - I should check youtube as there must be a video on 'how to' about taking it apart.

I'm surprised nobody is watching the spoof Z Nation zombie / comedy
 
new series of the walking dead is ace.

new series of fargo is just absolutely fuckably brilliant so far.

watched beasts of no nation. it deserved the hype in my opinion.
 
What season of TWD are you watching SD?

I recently acquired the S5 boxset and demolished it within about 48 hours. It was really good, right back up to the standard of the earlier seasons after going off the boil slightly during some episodes of S4 where nothing happened until the last minute in some cases, creating the usual cliffhangers to set up the next episode.
