What's Good On European And African TV v. Baking Bread

Anyone been watching Peaky Blinders ?

The title put me right off, but the trailers looked good. And it is pretty good quality stuff. We get to see Winston Churchill being all sinister, and telling an "effective" police inspector speacially draftyed in to bury any bodies deep in 1920s Birmingham when a missing shipment of weaponry becomes a national security crisis. Is it the IRA fenians, the communists, or the peaky blinders, a local gangster protection racket, lead by the ruthlessly ambitious Cillian Murphy. All this is heavily influenced by the aftermath of WW1.

What doesnt make sense is how the fuck Churchill knew the shipment was in Birmingham. That just does not add up. I guess you have to over look that.

No where near as good as The Walking Dead though !

Will Self is on Question time tonight, for anyone interested. (BBC1 10.35pm - 11.35pm)

no i didnt word that very well, he was telling the cop to be ruthless as fuck, and if that meant people getting killed, then the bodies should be disposed of so theyd never be found. Tonights episode was quality. Its the best thing the bbc have done in ages IMO. Every episode feels like a top quality film.

My heads not up to Question Time and Will Self tonight, I'll watch it tomorrow as Will Self is a fuckin genius. An independent free thinking individual like him is always worth listening to. I always prefer the guests who are free of party political constraints and are free to tell it like it is.

That Tattoo show on channel 4 was a bit sad, that BAtman guy has real issues & the face guy......well words fail me.
They have real issues with their body & need some kind of mental health worker to get over their deep rooted body dysmorphic disorder.

That looks absolutely terrible, but I'd be happy to hear if that isn't the case.

i know i keep harping on about it, but The Walking Dead is fuckin brilliant. You really need to see it right from the start to have a full appreciation of it, and to see how the characters are changed by their experience. Some for the better, some for the worst.

Its much more than a tale of zombies, alothough the zombies are brilliant, and i love the blood and gore of zombie brain killing. Weather it be arrow, axe, knife,sword or bullet.

Ultimately the show has become a tale of moral dilemas and of good vs evil in human nature.

I havent seen Breaking Bad yet but will be stating on series 1 episode 1 pretty soon.
