Whats Considered a Safe Amount of MDMA every month

Once a month is the MOST you should be using MDMA. And not any more than 2 pills or 200 mg.

0g MDMA would be the most safe, all drugs are dangerous to some degree. You shouldn't be consuming more than say 0.2g a month really, but dosing is subjective to the individual. I can't away a 5ft2 female should be consuming the same as a 6ft8 male

You should really only be doing it once every 3 month's if you liisten to Shulgin

EVERY month? 0mg

After a 30 day break? 250mg max per roll I say. Some may want to cheat and take it to 300mg... BUT ABSOLUTELY no more than that if you want to be safe. Personally, if I dose anywhere around or over 250mg in a night I feel like absolute shit for the next week and get an piercing headache on the comedown

That sounds like a regular hangover after a night of heavy binge drinking.

I have been told if your going to do it, you should only do it once a month, is this true? ?

I've rolled 4 times in the last 4 months, now my last roll I only waited 26 days but previous ones I've waited longer and I am starting to feel the negative effects of mdma. I would highly suggest to you to take at least 60days in between, 90 is even better. Do yourself a favor and respect this drug because molly bites back.

How much did you take each time you rolled?

Speak for yourself man... it's 100x worse and lasts much longer. I never feel worse than I do on an heavy MDMA comedown
I get really bad hangovers :) Maybe not for a full week, but definitely 4 days of VERY low mood and not wanting to be around people.

Could it be argued that 1 night of binge drinking causes more brain damage than 1 night of rolling? If you read up on binge drinking on wiki, its not pretty.

"Acute intoxication, such as binge drinking, are known potent risk factors for suicide."

"Binge drinkers tend to have delayed auditory and verbal memory and deficits in executive planning function and episodic memory, which are similar to deficits seen in Korsakoff's syndrome. Impairments in spatial working memory and pattern recognition tasks also have been found in heavy binge drinkers. Impulse control is also impaired in binge drinkers"

"Studies in adolescents have shown that regular binge drinking may cause long-lasting cognitive impairments. Binge drinking is believed to increase impulsivity due to altered functioning of prefrontal–subcortical and orbitofrontal circuits."

"Binge drinking and alcoholics who have undergone multiple detoxifications is associated with an inability to interpret facial expressions properly; this is believed to be due to kindling of the amygdala with resultant distortion of neurotransmission."

"Binge drinking regimes are associated with causing an imbalance between inhibitory and excitatory amino acids and changes in monoamines release in the central nervous system, which increases neurotoxicity and may result in cogitive impairments, psychological problems and in long-term heavy binge drinkers may cause irreversible brain damage in both adolescents and adults."

"heavy binge drinking adolescent humans show impaired brain activity during memory tests and underdeveloped brain structures compared to adolescents who did not binge drink"

"Binge drinking is also associated with strokes and sudden death.[39] Binge drinking increases the risk of stroke by 10 times.[1] In countries where binge drinking is commonplace, rates of sudden death on the weekend in young adults and middle aged people increase significantly.[40] The withdrawal phase after an episode of binge drinking is particularly associated with ischaemic stroke as well as subarachnoid haemorrhage and intracerebral haemorrhage in younger men."

"Binge drinking has negative effects on metabolism, lipid profile, blood coagulation and fibrinolysis, blood pressure and vascular tone and is associated with embolic stroke and acute myocardial infarction. Due to these risks experts believe that it is extremely important to warn people of the risks of binge drinking.[42] Binge drinking by people who would otherwise be considered to be light drinkers is associated with an increased risk of cardiovascular problems and mortality.[43] Binge drinking increases cardiovascular toxicity due to its adverse effects on the electrical conduction system of the heart and the process of atherothrombosis"

Well, if you're comparing ridiculous amounts of alcohol as are often consumed when "binge drinking" to smaller, safe and responsible doses of MDMA... then yeah, the booze is likely to be more damaging!

If you compared safe use of alcohol to safe use of MDMA, I don't think you'd see problems with either...

But compare heavy drinking to heavy MDMA abuse, and I believe the MDMA abuse will be much more damaging.

Everything in moderation!

Nothing worse than an alcohol hangover for me. It's like poison.

It is poison ;)

I only do MDMA every four months or so. If i do it too often the comedown is horrible and I feel like I don't peak as high as I could be if I had waited longer in between sessions.

Love it, though. Last time I did it, I went to a techno concert (typical, I know), but it was beyond amazing. I couldn't even dance. I just stood there and stared.

That's probably right.

What's it like taking small amounts of mdma? Say if the threshold for me was 30 mg and i were to take 50 mg. Would it have an effect? Would the effects last shorter? Would the negative side effects after, be less severe?

I'm actually interested in it's potential in treating social anxiety disorder. I became interested in it after reading this post from another forum member on drugs-forum.com

"A small dose (50mg) of (pure) MDMA is *VERY* useful in treating mild-moderate social anxiety disorder. For people who experience this, a noticeable difference is felt."

^ I disregard most things I read on DF, the fact that no one there is willing to take responsibility for their posts should speak volumes about it's accuracy :\

Low doses may be beneficial to some, but many other find them to be quite uncomfortable :\ MDMA really shines over 80mg, which is probably the lowest dose I would ever take.

I recommend you take a full dose (100-120mg), you won't regret it :)

you won't regret it :)

I'm sure i wouldn't :)
Unfortunately i am unable to get any mdma where i live. The only way i could get it, is if i were to buy it online trough silk road. I'm just afraid of being busted by customs opening up the envelope.:\

How much did you take each time you rolled?

The last 3 times I dosed as follows: 120mg, 130mg, 110mg. The first roll in that 4 month straight period I am unsure of, I took two caps (before I had a scale). Felt around 150mg in my opinion but who knows? For all four occasions I did NOT redose.

This might be because I abused md about 18 months ago but hey, who knows? Better play it safe rather than be sorry about it. :)

I rolled 47 days ago and want to roll again for the New Years (it will be 50 days since then since there's a couple of days left) I usually don't take huge doses (.1-.1 1/2) just wondering if I can do this safely.
I'm usually very good at taking precautions, I keep 5htp on hand at all times and I won't have any plans for a day or two after.
I'm not a frequent user of anything only weed

There is no definitive data regarding frequency of use and any putative [proposed/assumed] negative effects.

A small (very small) number of users of MDMA have a negative effect after one use. Disruption of the HPA axis is the most likely cause of the spectrum of effects that such persons experience -- akin to PTSD from a traumatic event.

Another small number experience the same after a few uses.

Most people have a very significant body load and 'hangover' starting approximately 2 days after and lasting for 3 to 5 days. this is mainly due to physical and emotional exhuation and SERT/receptor dysregulation. It is not due to serotonin depletion -- serotonin recovers by 48 hours at the latest.

Some people have afterglow instead of hangover and feel great -- no negative effects.

A very small number of persons report that they can use multiple times per week, with no loss of effect or negative physical or emotional effects.

Which category you fall into is anybody'd guess.
