I want to try getting rid of my bad anxietys but I also want to be able to think fast function like normal and stay awake an alert I dont usually touch drugs like these as I have a few strange fears regarding them but I want to actually try getting a bit of a social life as im bored of being bored and not looking forward to anything other than getting high im currently thinking maybe xanax as it sounds strong and I need something strong and I will be taking it with ritalin so will it still take away my anxiety well if im also on ritalin? Also how bad are the phsyical withdrawals? As I dont want to take it everyday so if withdrawals are bad then i will need a different drug and just incase anyone doesnt know i want a prescription drug not an illegal one cba spending all that money when I can get it free.

If I can even get anything from the doctors as they seem to be being cunts since I told them about my substance misuse which is unfair on me as I actually need the stuff to try and have a bit of life :( what would be best if I have to go the legal high and illegal route?

ya doctors can be assholes and prudes, that's why I don't tell anyone about my using of the drugz.

I would say you are on the right track as stimulants and benzos have helped me with social anxiety. the thing that you need to realize is that if you want to use these for SA you need to somewhat respect them. if you are just getting a script to get high then you are asking for an addiction. even if you only have good intentions you still need to be cautious.

I don't think amphetamines or Ritalin cause physical dependence. they obviously can still cause a strong mental addiction. as for benzos... the withdrawals from those can be deadly.

0.5mg Xanax is perfect for this. No anxiety and normal functioning. If anything take another 0.5mg later on if your anxiety comes back. Minimize your drinking and don't do this everyday. And don't exceed 1mg in a day/night. You probably shouldn't even drink if you don't want an interaction. These pills do a number on booze.

Only dose when you're gonna want to have no anxiety in a social situation.

alprazolam is one of the faster-acting benzos with a short half-life. so if you take it regularly you'll experience withdrawal symptoms more acutely. i'm unsure of how the extended release alprazolam, xanax XR, compares to the regular instant release in terms of dependence. most people on ADHD meds are prescribed clonazepam in my neck of the woods because it's better suited for daily use. however if you want a benzo for intermittent symptomatic relief, something you only take as needed - not everyday, then alprazolam is a great anxiolytic. read up on benzodiazepine withdrawals, i've gone through them before and currently have a friend dealing with benzo w/d's. watch out for rebound anxiety, it can last for a very long time if you begin a habit of benzo use for a long period of time. just be careful is all i'm saying.

I personally like clonazepam, it's got a long half life so I usually feel it working almost all day and I haven't noticed much of a dependency problem with it, I'll usually take 1mg a day and I haven't noticed any withdrawal if I go a day without a dose. I once had quit using at 2mgs of clonazepam a day cold turkey and even then I didn't notice any withdrawals at all. All in all, I've tried Ativan, Xanax, Klonopin, and Phenazepam and IMHO I liked klonopin the most, followed by Phenazepam, both because of the long half life. I've noticed that drugs like Xanax are easy to redose on after it wears off and that can be bad if you're worried about addiction, I like the idea of just taking 1 pill when I wake up, going my whole day anxiety free then, maybe if I really need some, take .5mgs more at the end of the day. Btw, idk if Phenazepam is even legal anymore so that may not be an option.

Nah, screw phenibut. The half life of it is so long that it's really easy to get addicted to it if used more than say twice a week. It's also extremely dehydrating and I THINK it's really hard on the kidneys.

I'd go for a legit benzo. Alprazolam is good, although it's a bit like a shovel to the head if you take too much

If you have substance abuse problems you should stay away from benzos. You could try Kava or L-Theanine, both legal and seem to work well for a lot of people.

start doin CBT, this shit is the long term solution for social anxiety.

a quick fix for anxiety would be alprazolam. find a dose that's good for you (maybe 1mg) and don't do it all the time, you don't wanna get addicted. another good benzo i'd say is clonazepam. it's as potent as alprazolam but has a longer half-life, so is great for example for school, you can take as you wake up and be anxiety free all school. but again, take care, benzos can get you addicted, only take when needed...

" I also want to be able to think fast function"

Not on a benzo, love.

You want to ask a doc for Xanax because it's "strong?" You shouldn't be worried about potency, but about how long it lasts (if indeed you are considering benzodiazepines). The short-acting ones, like Xanax, are more addictive than the longer acting ones, like Klonopin or Valium.

Do not go to a doc and ask for Xanax.

"im bored of being bored and not looking forward to anything other than getting high"

Do you mean to say you get high or you aren't just looking for a high? If it's the former, it could be exacerbating your symptoms. Even the Ritalin could be making it worse. I bet it made it better initially, though, right?

"Also how bad are the phsyical withdrawals?"

Just Google "Benzodiazepine withdrawal syndrome" and you'll find out it is one of the worst withdrawals one can go through (that is, if they even make it:().

Il try getting a longer acting one then

I mean to say I get high and thats basicly all I enjoy doing but I want that to change but it never will unless I eliminate my anxiety

My addiction level on drugs is very low in a way but since I have no real hobbies I just cant wait to get smashed out my brains lol

Im not currently taking ritalin but should be getting put back on it soon

Thanks to you and everyone else for replying :)

Alprazolam... Xanax er et bra alternativ... Men det utvikler angst i lengden... To andre medikamenter er bromazepam og lourazepam. Problemet er at det ikke er lovlig i alle land.
