What's a recreational/safe dose for Rohypnol (flunitrazepam)?

If I ever did come across this, i would no doubt have a moment of intense anxiety as I thought what other people buying the same shit as me were doing with it...its a sick world we live in

that being said I'm positive it would have some sedative and perhaps even euphoric effects at a lower dose. I just don't see how it's different from other sedatives. So how little is necessary in order to appreciate the psychoactive properties of rohypnol (ie: not pass/black out)

It all depends by your benzo tolerance, and it's not so different that the other benzo's. Also, as i'm sure you're already know, the same drug(or the amount of it), it doesn't influences the same all the people. For me, i don't get so sedative when i take rophynol, i usually take 5-7mg, and it takes a lot of hours to get me to sleep, but i take it for a lot of years, so i don't think that's a good dose for someone who hasn't take it before..If let's say, i was about to take it for first time, i would take 2mg. But it all depends by your tolerance, if you need 50-60mg of valium to get some euphoric effects, 2 or 3mg roph. would be ok i think, but maybe 1mg would be ok for the first time, to see how it works. The shit with this drug, is that if you take more than a standard dose, as if i take 8-9 or more mg, i would be reday to do whatever bullshit and don't remember anything after..I've made tons of fuckin things when on it, things that i regreted but was too late...This is why someone must be very careful when on it, and also, it can kill you very easy when mixed with opiods, i'm sure you know it..Well, if you take it, start slow...%)

be careful not to mix it with other sedatives when you are first trying it out, if you ever come across it. Start low and work your way up.

really martinfn nailed it though; comes down to your tolerance level If you can munch down 10mg of xanax and still function (some people can) then you may want to start higher than 1mg in rohypnol, but with out further knowledge of your benzo tolerance there's not much to say.
 
2 mg dose is standard prn. that's what i get in sapporo. however, please note the extremely long half-life (~36-200 HRS) so it could become cumulative without you being aware of it.
 
IME 4mg was perfect.

I do have a massive tolerance to Benzos but i took the 4mg after 2 months of abstinence.
 
^ even after 2 months your tolerance could well be pretty high if it was massive before the break..

OP, we don't know your tolerance so we can't say but if you have no tolerance then I'd start with no more than 1mg to be honest, as MartinFn said (equivalent to 10mg diazepam). If you do have a tolerance and know your dose of another benzo, take a look at this benzo conversion chart to work out the approx. equivalent dose.

Why? Its not that different from alprazolam

I'd rather score a really good batch of dope or good MDMA crystal and just grab Valium or Xanax
 
Flunitrazepam is available in the United States, its just not very often prescribed. Alprazolam, lorazepam, diazepam, clonazepam and temazepam are the most popular benzos in the U.S.

As effie mentioned before, benzo tolerance sticks around for a while...

Having been prescribed both for a long period of time, there are much more similarities between flunitrazepam and the other hypnotics such as nitrazepam, temazepam or lormetazepam. Triazolam could be compared to Alprazolam.

No it actually isn't. I used to go into Mexico to get it, before all the date rape controversy . It is not evaluated by the FDA and is considered an illegal drug now.

I found rohypnol felt like diazepam and a temazepam mix.

I found alprazolam to be waaay more recreational, I enjoy triazolam as well and find them very similar

in my books for "fun benzos"

Alprazolam > Rohypnol

although if you want a long acting benzo then rohypnol is the way to go.. if you can find it, if not take some diazepam and temazepam
 
As the other posters stated, you should dose low if you don't have a massive benzo tolerance. Rohypnol is more likely to cause amnesia than most of the other benzos, and if you take too much, you will just wake up the other day without knowing anything of the previous night.
In my experiece especially with flunitrazepam less is really more. When I used it I had a mediocre benzo tolerance (I would take 4 mg of clonazepam to buzz and still be able to function socially), and I had the best results when taking 1 mg. 1 mg hit me good after 15-20 minutes, caused some euphoria (not every time, but often) in the first half hour and kept me in a relaxed, tired state of mind afterwards. Of course you will have the urge to redose or dose higher, but that will only be a waste of drugs. Taking more initially will decrease the euphoria, redosing will only make you feel more fucked up without more comfort.
