Whatever Happened to Old Fashioned THC

Hi All,

I am just curious as to anyone has seen any around in years. Way back when, 70s and early 80s. We used to get *T* and have T parties.......lol. I am not talking about the THC you get from smoking........I do plenty of that. But true pure White/tan powdered T that you snort a match head of and you are in tune with the world? And no, it was not angel dust, pcp etc also not keif. ..........this was known as T or THC.

Great stuff. Has anyone else done this particular drug? Any of the older members?hippies/ potheads remember it? It was hands down the best drug I have ever ever done and I have done many. but I can barely even find anyone who knows what Im talking about. It is a drug that I never saw anyone flip out on, It always seemed to be a great rec drug and its one i would love to get my hands on again. great mentally and very great sense of well being on it. Just one little match head of it would have you tripping for a whole day. IF just one person can say theve seen it lately it would give me hope.......lol. Again, would love to get my hands on it again.

thc would not get you high if you snorted it, its just not possible. it sounds like good heroin
 
yeah, def not THC. even if it was, a matchhead sized bit of THC would not get you high.

I don't know what it was, possibly something that started with the letter T so thats just what they called it.
 
What I think is that this is a lost Art. It was THC, nothing else. Def not heroin......went down that road for years..........I think this stuff quit being made early eighties......Kinda like Thai Sticks.........I used to smoke Thai that made medical chronic ( and yeah, I know Dank, its all I smoke) Def not pcp,dust etc.......this was called T , Tea, Or THC ..........and you snorted it......could have iv'd it easily. Just wondering if anyone has seen anyone around anywhere with this, bet there are some other old hippies like me that remember this stuff. lol it DID exist.......I did a boatload of it. But so did Genuine Thai Sticks........and they are gone in art form as well.
 
thc is not water soluble dude, snorting it will not get you high hands down. it wasnt thc
 
also, since its not water soluble, you couldn't have shot it. it would've had to of been in an oil, and I don't think you wanna be shootin' up any kind of oil.

face it dude, it wasn't THC. I'm sure it was some kind of drug, I'm not doubting you there. but it simply wasn't THC.
 
yes ferrerra, what these people are telling your isn't to be disrespectful, BUT, no Matter HOW old and experienced you are and what you remember, doesn't change that a lot of these people on here are chemistry majors and doctors, you simply cannot argue with science, to do so is simply futile, Thc is not water soluble, therefore scientifically it cannnot be ingested the way you describe, There probably were however many different Research Chems that had a close proximity of effects, I'm sure thats what you were snorting.

I live in the northeast US and I remember caps of Tee when I was in high school in the mid 70’s. When I moved to California in 76’ they had what felt like the same thing, they called it angel dust. I know you say it’s not the same thing but it felt the same to me.

It’s also not a lot different then what they called “Sherm” or Sherman sticks. They were the little brown cigarettes you bought in a store and they were dipped in something that felt a lot like Tee or angel dust

Thai sticks are basically weed tied to a stick. I haven’t seen these since the 70’s or 80’s but picture a thick tooth pick about 8 or 10 inches long. Buds of weed are wrapped around the stick and tied in place with a type of string. Around here I think they went for about $15 a stick.

I was in a Philippines in the late 70’s and they had Thai sticks; much thicker and way cheaper

HAHAHAH sounds like you guys have been snorting pcp...

SHerm and angel dust are slang for pcp. SHerm sticks are pcp dipped cigarettes or joints...
 
I remember the thia sticks. They would tie the wet buds around the sticks and let them cure. Only time I've seen them since the late eighties was about ten years ago in Vegas. A local was walking down the strip with a brown bag full of them. They were pretty good.
 
Actually I think it was his day job. I don't know if things have changed on the vegas strip since I went ten years ago. I had quite a few people walk up to me an try to sell me weed and coke.
 
I went 9 years ago, and while I was only 16, I would notice someone carrying a grocery bag of weed down the sidewalk, and so would the cops. I did however see TONS of those guys standing out flippin' the cards on their hands, and when you get one they're escort numbers and stuff.
