What'd you do to get off your butt today? v. "That's not real exercise!"

Rock climbing last night. Ascending the same routes way quicker and with much more ease. Utah here I come!!!!!

15 mile bike ride today. I actually freakin' love the heat. Been 95+ here all summer with heat indexes in the 100's and it feels so good. Not so much for running, but biking in it's awesome. Drives you to do cooling activities anyway like free diving, surfing, and wakeboarding.
 
Just completed my first workout in 4 weeks!!! I had to take a break because I had some surgery a month ago. I damn near when completely batshit insane without exercise! It is amazingly relieving to be back on the exercise-wagon.

30 mins weights
3km run

Feels good man %)
 
3 x (7 x 225 bench + 7 x 70 dumbell press)
3 x (pushups + abs + pushups + abs) w various exercises
3 x (incline dumbells + incline press) w grip, etc variations

I love supersets. You can terrorize pretty much any muscle group in about 45 min if you play your cards right.
 
Moved heavy ass furniture all day in order to clean. My upper body aches something goooooooddddd :)

gotta preserve my sexy
 
Went to go buy some weed, maybe a 40min round trip on the bike... back 1h30 later with no weed due to getting hopelessly lost :(
 
S_L: :) Not as much as I would have if I'd just been going on a bike ride. It kinda sucked really, wore too many clothes, didn't take a drink, didn't warm up. I'll just go again tomorrow and not try to improvise the route!

Edit: though I just noticed I feel a lot better now, after having not done anything for the last 5 days or so.

... Where did you go to be able to hike ten miles? That's mildly impressive!

Well, sure, you weren't expecting to be out there that long. Just remember, kids: exercise > drugs.
 
Hehe, but drugs don't make my knee hurt, cycling does, recently :p I think I need to take it easy for a bit, but every time I go for a ride, I can't resist going too far...

How about drugs and excercise? I find weed is pretty useful sometimes.

Weed does nothing for my physical capabilities. I have to agree with PI; you don't have to try *every*thing while under the influence of drugs. I prefer exercising without drugs in my system.
 
Yeah I'm sure it does nothing physically, but I think a small amount helps me to focus and push myself a bit harder than normal. The amount is crucial though, too much and everything goes to hell, whatever I'm doing.

Of course I'm not suggesting it'll work for everyone, or if it does you should do it every time you excercise or something.
