Banrock Station Shiraz Mataro box! It's actually very fucking nice. Fruity but not sickly.

EDIT this wine is like pringles. I can't stop!

boxed... wine*?

obviously, this just makes me love j00 more <3 ;p

* so much more bang for yer buck ... I'm with yah, honestly ;p*

Cheap 3% beer with 'Le' in front of it to make it sound posh.

Eugh, y'all drinking wine - I've necked a few bottles in my time but wine just makes me gag. Champagne is even worse, nothing like turning down free Cristal.

I had 4 tins of Strongbow. I hate the stuff but I didn't buy it and I'm not one to say no to free booze.

Mailmonkey that shop that I mentioned ages ago that sold Old Empire for 4 for £5 wasn't Home Bargains, I keep getting the names mixed up.
It was B & M (Bargains & Madness). not sure if you've got one near you or not (the Empire deal's off now anyways .. )

... but, I've been getting these 2 regularly from there for £1.29 a pop (works out £5.19 for 4 bottles, total bargain)

Weston's Old Rosie Cloudy Scrumpy (7.3 % )
and
Gaymer's Stewley, Single Orchard (6.8 % ) .. bottle says it got a Gold Award in the International Cider Challenge 2010, whatever that is. It's yum anyway. lovely stuff.

they also do your toffee dodgers for 19p

Nice Cider Marmz , although i have never come across a proper Scrumpy that is carbonated also that's pretty clear looking in comparison to the straight from the farm Stuff .
I suppose it's a tad more refined .

Fuckin Ell, Bargains AND Madness all under one roof. sounds like Ikea, but with more toffee dodgers.

Nice looking ciders anyway. I've never heard of bargains and madness, lol, still sounds wrong....

I'm contemplating a 4th pint of Ribena, pee still not running clear :D , and still feel a bit ropey.

that's cos it's from Bargains and Madness, not straight from the farm, and, let's all be honest, the going rate round here for "straight from the farm" scrumpy is about 5-6 quid a gallon, but it is fucking horrible, nobody drinks it cos they like it.

The one on the right is about the colour of my pee now, earlier was like the one on the left.

Have you got a Bargains and Madnessnear you brimz?

ahh the ole dehydration, last time my pee went that color i had kidney aches for days, nasty stuff. hammering water atm, the aches have been at bay for weeks now, surprising after the amount of booze ive been drinking these days. currently on the tea, coffee, loads of juice n water n whatever

tea and coffee not good for dehydration Dan

I have tea and coffee for the cafeine first thing, then pints and pints of beena till my pee is running clear, or like a very very light straw colour.

Kidney aches? never had them.

My pee is very dark when i finish work, specially this time of year, horrendous for dehydration, drink 2 litres during my round, but doesn't touch the sides.

It's fine to talk about piss on the what are you drinking thread innit? the two are so closely related.

^^^

It must be I had a work colleague once who was a partner in the business, total nutter. He had diabetes but just wouldn't accept it and wasn't looking after himself or taking his insulin as he should. He got involved with just about every weird alternative health cures there were going including drinking his own piss, at the time my psoriasis was really bad and he kept on at me to give it a go.

I believe the basic theory is that as its already passed through you it's the best thing to cleanse your systems....no I wasn't convinced either :)

Poor bloke ended up dead through blood poisoning related to the ulcerations in his foot and leg:|

Juts a note on coffee it's not all bad most of the real diuretic effects don' effect you if you are a regular drinker, so it will hydrate you but you are better off with straight water as always.

I'm having a week lemon drink today ;)

yea i usually drink water in between coffees and teas etc, average 3/4 litres a day but depends, hate being dehydrated thought i fucked myself up last year after a long stim and booze binge, kidney aches all kinds of stuff for days, then a few months later got them again, then over christmas got them again, teaches me for hammering vodka for days on end

Haha, spent many a time in the offie debating whether to just go for a massive box of wine or pretend to be classy and get the stuff what is in bottles.

Drinking a bottle of Brothers at the moment. Apparently bittersweet apple but Brothers has always tasted like slightly flavoured water to me. Still, I'm skint, it's booze, and I didn't pay for it. Result!

Edit: The talk of pee and such reminded me of a story my ex told me about a mutual friend. Apparently, in a bid to lose weight, she attempted a lemonade diet, consisting of consuming nothing but lemonade. Sounded ridiculous and I was told it ended when it gave her the shits and she passed out on the toilet due to eating fuck all for days, coming round to what I'm told was described as 'utter horror'.

=D

Who thinks a lemonade diet is a good idea, what an idiot! There's definitely easier and more healthy ways to lose weight like going on a smoothie diet where you just eat fruit and veg shakes or cutting out carbs or even excercising and eating healthy.

Drinking pepsi max with ice.

Just had a look n the closest is Near Trowbridge looks like it's in the middle of nowhere tbh

Sayin that it also looks like the sort of place i could spend a few ££ maybe a bike ride to check it out if my legs up to it.

Yeah farm Scrumpy is really a Teenage "get plastered thing" mind quite a few local boozers round here do local ciders @ £2ish a pint, orange stuff god knows the strength just say strong.

Yeah I did question her sanity there myself, she's a bit of a hippy dippy type so maybe that's it? Either way she recently ended up going for hypnosis, lost four stone and now she makes me look (more like) a fat cunt :( Still, at least I have my beautiful face.

Got to love local ciders, ordered one in the pub down from uni waiting for my mate and the barman goes 'it tastes like paintstripper that does'. Did the job, though.

lemonade fuckin diet indeed.

one of our locals keeps 2litre bottles of Natch under the bar, £2 a pint... ;) ha, can buy pint of proper draught beer in the Midlands for that, but most draught and keg beers and ciders round here go at 3-3.80 a pint in pubs :(

lol, shit cider though Natch.
