Massive easerly winds, huge waves, seagulls being blown back inland every time they tried swooping down to grab stuff from the sea.

Well earned pint by the fire in the pub.

Not sure what to drink now. Only got lager at home, and don't fancy it after drinking decent bitter.

Might have to be westons, or rum,...

or PORT! that'll do :D

thats sounds like a perfect sunday except 4 or 5 pts in the pub would be even better.

strange that you mention the strong wind n sea as a trawler went down off the cork coast this morning with 5 missing :(
 
lol 4-5 pints would have been perfect....but driving and wife and boy in car, so no.

Also, saw someone on about pub loyalty card scheme, my pub has jusy started a buy 5 get 6th pint free scheme, so yeah, 5 would have been ideal.

I'm such a lame drinker these days it'l take me a couple more visits to fill me card up with the 5 stamps I need for a free pint...

eh, not good. all the males in my family are fishing folk - seiners, not trawlers tho. it's the news you dread hearing about.

Oasis Blackcurrant I find it satisfying after a good long wank.It quenches the thirst. Its also nice after a few hash cookies

I'm more of a lurker than a poster, but I gotta jump in this thread to say that my dad's just walked in with what I thought was 3 litres of water.

Took one sip and gagged. Romanian moonshine apparently.

Fucking brutal. I'm doing an all nighter on some uni work but I think I'll hit that shit a bit later. If I don't post again in this thread in the next 24 hours, it's because my veins are swimming with fomaldehyde and I've lost my vision.

lawdy. it makes me feel guilty for only having 2/12 left. I don't do guilt at the best of times, and beer that makes me feel guilty can't be a good thing

In other [bad] news, when I was in Tesco's earlier I noticed that my favourite beer, Old Tom has been rebranded.
It was a little destablising to say the least. I'm gonna have to buy some to see if I can adapt. I'm gonna miss this kitty :(

get me some while you're at it. I drank my last 2 in the bath this afternoon.

I didn't think I'd like it as much as the brown, but it's really lovely

probably gonna make another trip tonight for a few more boxes. urgh. wish beer wasnt so calorific.
