My mates are fond of that Desperado stuff, beer with a shot of tequila in, not keen on it myself. Sipping a can of Irn Bru.
 
deperado has probably never seen a drop of tequila (water, malted barley, glucose syrup, corn, sugar, aromatic compounds, citric acid, hop extract), quite a refreshing but i'd consider it an alcopop rather than a beer.

^^^very nice, I've got Lidl "James Cook" rum and Pepsi Max for later.

The Lidl rum is 7 quid, and I suspect water, ethanol and caramel, made in Germany it is, famous for its sugar cane plantations.

Lidl and Aldi rum is €13 over here, they do the job when going to a festival or party with a btl of ginger ale to mix with it.

Havana 7 is my rum of choice.

i'm going to get a bottle next time i go past a lidl, at £7 it can't be bad even if it is bad.

a search for 'lidl james cook rum' brings up one of your posts on the first page on google %)

edit: it appears to be £9.75 a bottle, still cheap as chips

Hahahhaha, yes, is a favourite of mine.

Missis does Lidl shop, so i don't know the prices, 9.75 is a bit steep 8o edit>>>she told me it was cheap, so I extrapolated the 7 quid from that comment

I, maybe 3 times a year, get a decent rum, usually as a present from someone, Pirat is very good, The Kraken is tasty but a bit gimmicky, but I try to drink them neat...if i just mixing with coke James Cook does the job okay....

Same. Haven't drunk it in ages though. You've got me choking to get on the rum n cokes. There's some Bicardi in the cupboard, might get a bottle of coke and have a few like. Some limes in the kitchen I think.
 
Green tea, healthy healthy!

I've had heaps of drink left over from last weekend aswell, 13 cans of fosters, buds and a bottle of morgans but I've resisted temptation. Doubt it would be the same if that were drugs.
 
I just found the dregs of a bottle of Bombay Sapphire and bottle of tonic in the cupboard, G&T going down a treat!

Desperado's is pretty much all I drank in college. Can't fucking abide it now though do occasionally get the odd bottle when in the SU and a bit plastered.

Nearly did the Lidl run myself cos they've been doing 12 Strongbow for eight quid recently but I'm in a shit mood and it's shit weather so bought some (even more) shit cider to go with it. Cheap as chips, if I'm not pissing out my arse by 6am tomorrow I'll be after a refund.
 
I've got a Lidl round the corner (well, a few corners) too, might jump on this cheap Mexican drink bandwagon..

Saddens me that none of my friends will drink Tequila with me, not even a shot :( At the bar on Saturday I told my cousin "Lets do a shot of Tequila", he said if I pay for it, I offered to pay but he still backed down. I just bought myself 2 instead :)
