I don't think I've ever been more keen to see the end of a calendar year... one more month.

I have been listening to The Smiths pretty much 24/7 lately

I'm probably going to start putting random band aids on myself soon
 
I am listening to Gabriel's Oboe, aka "that song from The Mission". It's a beautiful piece of music, the oboe is such a soothing instrument.

Jimmy Eat World - For Me This Is Heaven

From Clarity, the album I listened to the most in yr 12 next to Glassjaw's "Everything You Ever Wanted To Know About Silence".

The harmonies on the outro are brilliant, and always manage to calm me the fuck out.
 
Listening to Loose Balloon by PUSA.

This band has always just made me smile. Fuckin' bizarre cunts :) The lyrics are always quirky and just fit together so snazzily.

Finally got around to buying the new album but I've been thinking about doing it for half the year.
 
i'm listening to Girl Talk - Feed the Animals, and it's awesome.

i'd never heard of him until gala darling of all people wrote about him. mash ups of hip hoppy stuff with pop, and even better, 80's pop - I'm in love!
 
Listening to Golden Brown by The Stranglers. There's just some songs that seem to be created by a heavenly presence to completely engulf the average booze hound with ecstasy.

I'm listening to Juno Reactors Gods and Monsters. I only got it the other day and it's a great listen. I'm not sure if I'll play it on my NYE candyflip session, I reckon it's got some overtones that wouldn't go with the lsd..
 
This Glasvegas album they seem to be whoring out on Triple J is actually really good.
