The Beatles - You Like Me Too Much

I just put them on before I listen to TAL because the guy in the book I'm reading said all kids love the Beatles, and if you can find a kid who doesn't like them, at any age, they're a bad egg.

That being said, the lyrics in this song disturb me greatly.

I'm listening to You're Gonna Go Far Kid by The Offspring.

Against my better instincts I downloaded and listened to the new album yesterday because I had an hour and a half drive and that's the only way I was going to make myself give it a chance.

A lot of the songs suck, and the first song is abhorrent, but a few actually fucking shred and I love this one. I like how the timing jumps around a bit and the solid beat in the chorus.

In an Offspring mood now so kicking it old school with Dirty Magic one of my all time favourite songs. Offspring used to have a fantastic ability to write music that really suits their lyrics, something not a lot of punk bands do. Too bad Dexter can't write emotional depth like this any more:
