What You Listening to? ver. It was so fabulous, now it's shrunk down to nothing

AIC. <3

And yeah, they usually do.. am hoping there's not too much new stuff as I wasn't at all keen on the last album. Fingers crossed.

I haven't listened to their new stuff yet really but I'll be familiarizing myself with it a bit. It's always easier to get into live songs when you recognize them.

Mind, I hadn't heard much Pendulum when I saw them live. Was still awesome.

Pendulum - Propane Nightmares

Ehrrr.. as much as I adore them, the new album is really very bland. Black Gives Way To Blue had some great tracks but.. well, will be interested to hear what you think about the latest one. ;)

I shall look forward to it. ;)

I've been avoiding listening to Metallica's St. Anger & Lulu for much the same sort of reasons...

Teheh, that seems fair.. I pretty much had to hear some of the Lulu stuff as they kept playing it in a comedy way on my local rock radio.. 8)

I presume none of that made it onto the fans' selection for Sonisphere? :sus:

On the subject of live gigs, Oasis at Newcastle Metro Arena 2005 was possibly the best night of my life. It BLEW every other gig ive been to out of the water, incl. Stone Roses and Arctic Monkeys.

Really? Heh.. there's no way I could choose a "best" gig. I started to list good ones but realised I was forgetting loads and.. yeah, they're all good, really. (Stone Roses, yeah.. that was surprisingly average. The screens were amazing but the crowd was a bit blah.)

Yeah best by a long way, but I am borderline obsessed with Oasis so that might have something to do with it. As much as i enjoyed it I had no energy at all for Stone Roses at heaton park. Might have something to do with getting stoned out of my nut whilst watching the support act (The Wailers) %) I could barely stand up.
