Second City - I wanna feel




Apparently they have teemed up with Route94 so waiting to see what that comes out like.
 
Yeah, the lack of drugs became really apparent when the room became a massive dancefloor part of the way into the set. Though I have to be pretty careful about dancing at the best of times now, let alone dancing on stims.

Fun night though, and Islington Mill was a perfect venue.
 
Not been to that venue, i must get there at some point, i think the Ting Tings have some connection with that place iirc? I think they were kind of 'based there' or maybe they just played there on one occasion, and it stuck in my memory because i failed to go for reasons i cant remember. 8(

Sort of know what you mean about the 'have to be careful about dancing' thing. Presumably you dont mean because of any physical conditions. Do you mean as in an old enough to be like the 'embarrasing Dad/ Uncle dancing'. With enough drugs that kind of thought never crosses my mind (much) but being entirely sober (and in public) it is a completely different matter. :\

No, I love dancing! I just have to be careful because of the lithium. It sucks.

I would've been too self-conscious sober, but not because of any real embarrassment factor; it's more the fact that you can't really do dancing by halves or it looks really dreadful. I was far too tired to really let rip.

I love the way this track completely pauses for a second after the guitar solo, and then immediately takes off again at the cue of the singer, the timing is phenominal. 8o

Anyone know if this guy was a 'one hit wonder' or if his albums are worth checking out? One person told me that the album this track is on, is a good one, and the guy is pretty fucking cool.
