Simply the bestest tune ever made by anyone ever. Dispute it? Take MDMA (and/or acid) then tell me I'm wrong. Go on. I double-dog dare ya.

The Orb - Earth (Gaia)

(the above is no way baiting. i mean it. if you disagree take acid and pills together and listen. listen to that whole album from beginning to end. tremble at the majesty. weep. laugh. beg. we are not worthy <3)

Ratpack - Searching For My Rizla

(name that suzanne vega tune in one - i double dare ya)

<3

That brings back memories, I met them both before and after the prison thing, great live PA and Everson is a great hardcore MC...if you like that kinda ting.

Lovin the Surfers, they were very much inspired by Roky Erickson and instrumental in getting him sorted out, you can how they wheer influenced by Roky in a loy of his later stuff:-

Roky Erickson - Creature with the Atom Brain

Lawdy lawdy. Y'all fukked my interwebz for quite some time. Please stop talking to me in such close succession. It's not good for a shitey connection 8(

Y'know how The KLF and The Orb split very early on? Me too. Was heartbreaking. We iz both wrong though cos they got back together years ago. Surely y'all spotted it too? Or were y'all in transit like I was? We are queens the lot of us <3

Transit King - West End of a Duck Going East - how fukkin sexy is that bassline? sexier than you and yer missus and her brother's mother is how sexy <3

Transit Kings - Butterflies - how pretty is that tune? How acid-drenched is that tune? How pretty are butterflies? It all makes sense all of a sudden <3

Transit Kings - The Last Lighthouse Keeper - I said Earth/Gaia is the bestest tune by any man nor beast ever but moments past... I still do but lawdy does this tune run it a close second. Very different. Not for pills. For dissociatives. In excess. It all makes sense. Oh yes it does. Cos there are no cornere, see? It's a lighthouse. Round. Round and around and a round. Winking at god. And he winks right back if you catch the cunt inna good mood <3

<3

Smashing Pumpkins - Cherub Rock (live on some thing some where some time (and good with it)) - y'know how I keep saying such and such a song is the bestest ever? this would be the gee-tar line of enquiry. Pure godliness <3

Smashing Pumpkins - Disarm/Hummer/Geek USA (live some where some time)

Smashing Pumpkins - Siva (album version)

Smashing Pumpkins - Snail (Mashed Potatoes version)

<3

Pee Ess: There was a time I could play every one of those tunes virtually note for note. Then I sold my gee-tar. Then I sold my record collection. Fuck smack.

Smashing Pumpkins - Blue (Mashed Potatoes Acoustic Version) - will leave it at that cos is nice. Occasional Mrs Shambles always called me 'Blue'. She never once told me why.

Smashing Pumpkins - Girl Called Sandoz (Mashed Potatoes Version) - spot the reference. go on. spot it. it's both spotty and all wibbly and shit. somewhat swirlsome if you ask me.

Smashing Pumpkins - Hello Kitty Kat- cos I'm doing a Wall of Sound thing from here on in in this post and this is a prime example of such a thing. Say hello...

Smashing Pumpkins - Starla - cos it's possibly my fave Pumpkins tune ever. That solo... just that <3

Smashing Pumpkins - The Aeroplane Flies High (Looks Left. Looks Right) (live and done proper) That solo too... Just that <3

Smashing Pumpkins - Tales From a Scorched Earth

<3

I would apologise for repetition. But it's a treat for you as much is it is for me.

Smashing Pumpkins - Zero

Smashing Pumpkins - Where Boys Fear to Tread

Smashing Pumpkins - XYU

Smashing Pumpkins - Porcelina of the Vast Oceans

Few albums capture addiction in quite so much style. Even fewer with such content. Wonder what smackheadedness is like? It's like this and that up there <3

And to balance out the doom, gloom and tracklines, pure positivity... albeit kinda junkie stylee <3

Smashing Pumpkins - Today (which is one of the first quite difficult arpeggios I slogged hard and learnt to play proper. And the harmonies. Fanboy? Moi? :o)

^ Fukkin lightweight indeed. But booze alone tonight. And 1mg of etiz. Cos I iz hardcore like that. Celebrating lack of w/d symptoms so I am. More so than I expected to. Also celebrating dirt cheap quality voddy. There may be some crossovers in, around and amongst these things.

Still can't sleep. But have yawned a lot so not far to go.

Smith Westerns - All Die Young

One of those bands with one jaw-droppingly luscious song and several quite average-moderately good ones. If they never make another decent thing in their lives their entire career is validated by this one tune though cos is pure godly <3

And just cos I am and cos is also kinda godly (albeit in a different way)...

Mono - Pure as Snow

Just when you think a chord progression can't go no further... <3

be gone with your booze, it's the one thing I can pretend to be righteous about so consider it pretended

Edwin Starr - Stop Her On Sight (S.O.S.)

I was lucky enough to both meet Edwin Starr and see him live, a fantastic show. Part way through a group of NF brain cells started making Nazi gestures at him, he stopped the show and addressed them with total dignity, at the time that whole scene was being targeted by those wankers and my friends were falling in line. It made a big impression on me so much so I left the whole thing behind and moved on, it wasnt the only catalyst but it sticks in my mind. He died a few years back, under rated IMO he cared more about performing than fame.
