Spiritualized - Out of sight

Out of sight is always out of mind
I think out of mind is out of sight
I was just looking for some peace of mind
I just couldn't find a peace of mine

They say that pride comes just before a fall
I have fallen and I wasn't sure
You know that I have fallen further before
I just cannot stand falling no more

If I am good I could add years to my life
I would rather add some life to my years
Life is really what you make it they say
I can't even make my mind up today

The world keeps turning it keeps me in my place
Where I stand is only three miles from space
Standing space is all the space I can stand
Gravity just keeps on keeping me down

Aerosmith were forced to cancel plans for show in Istanbul, Turkey tonight due to a horrible mining accident in the nearby town of Soma. At least 200 local miners were killed and hundreds more were trapped after an explosion occurred in the mine.
In an official statement, lead singer Steven Tyler expressed his regret and offered condolences to those whose lives were lost. “My heartfelt prayers go out to those who have died, those who are still trapped and their families. We are holding the people of Turkey close to our hearts and respecting the three days of mourning for a saddened nation.”
Lead guitarist Joe Perry echoed Tyler’s sentiment. “I feel profound sorrow for the workers and their families who have been killed or injured in this terrible disaster,” he said. “As soon as I heard the news, I called my wife in America and me and my family’s hearts and prayers go out to the families and workers who were killed or injured. Words can’t express the sorrow that we feel.”
The proposed show at the Istanbul Technical University was supposed to be the first the band had ever played in that country.

Uncle Salty told me stories of a lonely
baby with a lonely kind of life to lead
my mammy was lusted, Daddy he was busted
they left her to be trusted till the orphan bleeds
but when she cried at night, no one came
and when she cried at night, went insane

Uncle Salty told me when she was just a baby
that she'd get by and maybe someday she'd see
but soon she found her mother's love for all the others
the pushers and the shovers was the life to lead
but when she cried at night, no one came
and when she cried at night, went insane

oooh, it's a sunny day outside my window
oooh, it's a sunny day outside my window
oooh, oh yeah
oooh, oh yeah, yeah yeah

now she's doin any for money and a penny
a sailor with a penny or two or three
hers is the cunning for men who come a-runnin'
they all come for fun and it seems to me
that when she cried at night, no one came
and when she cried at night, went insane

oooh, it's a sunny day outside my window [x1,000,000] http://youtu.be/0Ubc2Io3HcI Aerosmith - Uncle Salty

Black Sabbath have been on a huge roll the last couple of years. Their comeback album ’13′ is a Grammy-winning smash hit and they’ve been playing sold-out shows all across the world. But could the legendary metal band’s touring career be coming to a close?
Guitarist Tony Iommi says in an interview with Metal Hammer that the last show on their summer tour could be their last show, period. That concert is at the Barclaycard British Summer Time Festival in London’s Hyde Park on July 4.
“It could be the last ever Sabbath show,” Iommi says. “I don’t want it to be, but there’s nothing really planned touring-wise after that show, so for all we know that could be it really. To be honest I don’t want to be touring to this extent too much longer, because it makes me feel so bad.”
Iommi has been battling lymphoma since early 2012. He finished up treatment in March, and is waiting for an update on how he’s doing. “I’m at a stage now where I have no support, which means I have to see whether the cancer is coming back or if it’s still there or what,” he says. “I just don’t know. It’s a bit of a worry. After we finish this tour I’ll go in and have scan, so we’ll see what that shows up.”
All Sabbath shows at this point in their career are special, but the Hyde Park gig will be even more so. Fans, of course, are hoping that Iommi gets a clean bill of health and that Sabbath are able to continue playing live for many years to come.
