Waterfall's top five Cure albums (I like to codif my music and make lists, yes I am a geek):
1. Disintegration
2. The Head on the Door
3 Pornography
4. Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me (which I saw a first pressing of in ex condition the other month but couldn't stretch to £20)
5. Three Imaginary Boys
Quality choices there, and we'll not quibble about the order. I see you miss out the third part of the
"trilogy", Bloodflowers, which I do too. I don't quite get the inclusion in it (marketing ploy? surely not), which is perhaps due to me not paying attention at the time of its release (even though I bought it).
I'd almost call that a connoisseur’s choice, but unfortunately there's no mention of 17 Seconds or Faith.

Perhaps in a top 7? If you're not familiar with them (yet you love Pornography?), I'd strongly suggest getting your doom on and at least having a few listens. They are the creative bridge between 3IB and Pornography, and I have to say, when I was a downtrodden and oppressed teenager, they were firm favourites. Especially Faith.
I've discovered two other Cure geeks in one week. :D
Any shoegaze fans on EADD? If so, you might not have heard of Medicine,
Not heard of them. Have a couple of Ride albums, which I still love. MBV, of course, and then there were Pavement and Dinosaur Jr, who kinda qualify. At that point it evolved into something better and more varied.
Nostalgiafest. %)
