Who said it had ended Swampy? I wish I'd been for the whole weekend in some ways but the Sunday was enough in itself.

Linkin Park - Crawling

Must be harder for you up in Scotland Chat, kind of one of the reasons I stayed reasonably close to London for uni was the whole being able to see bands thing haha. Priorities.

Yeah most big bands don't venture past Glasgow if they even come to Scotland at all.

I went to T in the Park in 2009 though, which was a good way to see lots of bands. I missed a shit load who were playing somehow though.

Trying to remember who I saw: Blur, The Killers, Snow Patrol, The Specials, Seasick Steve, Eagles of Death Metal, 2 Many DJs, Pendulum, Lily Allen.

Aww, I missed nu-metal hour on here

Nu metal hour never ends.

Limp Bizkit - Nookie CLASSIC
Papa Roach - Between Angels and Insects

Both amazing songs live. Seen both bands 3 times, would again. And again after that. Especially 'Bizkit.

And yeah that's what I thought Chat. What a pain. I mean, getting into London is fucking expensive (£17.50 it cost me to go to Eminem, pisstake considering where I live) but better that than nothing. I've never done more than a day at a festival, couldn't as I'm allergic to dirt and smells.

Pretty sure I linked this recently, but screw it... it's nu-metal night!

Papa Roach - Last Resort

Reminds me of a night I went out drinking with a lady friend from Uni & we stumbled upon a proper old skool nu metal night at a club that mostly plays commercial shit. Was a good night. :D

Teheh, I still seem to end up dancing to all of those nu metal tracks ^ once a month or so in rock/metal clubs. And then I still go to the gigs and see the bands at festivals too. It must be nice to be nostalgic about the stuff.. =D

And agreed Chatty, there's a special place in my heart for ska punk. <3

Am now frantically listening to as many bands playing Boomtown as I can to figure out who I want to see next weekend.

Sort of wish I'd bought a ticket to boomers this year, nevermind. Hope you have a good time!

Would be a decent song to remix as a liquid drum and bass track, dont ya think? I tried asking some of the producers at jungle syndicate & rupture, but they were having none of it. Think it was mainly down to them worrying they would butcher an absolute masterpiece ;)
