Am glad theres still people out there listening to nu metal and stuff, it seems pretty much dead now

Yeah I'm the only nu metaller left, when I went to see Slipknot couple of years ago it was a private show.

I don't actually know anyone else who is into nu metal (as much as me) though thinking about it. Ah well, as with everything, I don't follow trends - they follow me. (Like those italics? ;)). Have some more:

Corey Taylor and Travis Barker - On My Own

I like Everlong, like Foo Fighters in general. One of the only bands left on my to see list (and apparently they're playing this September, ooh). That Incubus song is nice too, reminds me of being young cos my mum used to play it in the car.

I used to listen to One by One album a lot when I was younger. Rather fond of the acoustic stuff on In Your Honour too though. Fuck. I need to start paying attention to concerts & find out who is on. (wait, it appears it was only announced today? Hmm tickets go on sale on Friday... another trip to London perhaps. =D) My biggest regret is not going to many thus far.

Pretty sure I've linked this before:

System of a Down - Roulette

Pizza here too!

Geesh. I hadn't got around to listening to Wild Card properly yet... can't complain though. :)

Huh, great minds!. Oh, and it's Wild Flag ;)

I was lucky enough to catch them live a couple of times, and they were excellent on both occasions. I can't see them releasing another album, though. They all seem to be tied up with other projects with no mention of WF ever being a thing again. T'was good whilst it lasted. :)

Wild Flag live on Letterman

I've been to shitloads of concerts in only the last few years, only thing I don't hesitate to spend money on other than drugs of course. Seen all my absolute favourites, only ones I'm really bothered about now are: Foo Fighters, Biffy Clyro, Muse and then to a lesser degree Korn (had the chance to see them but didn't stupidly, think it was more expensive than I thought it was worth), Dream Theater, Jimmy Eat World, Seether. I did want to see Linkin Park but I don't really like their new stuff so I just think I'd be disappointed, they are touring end of the year tho so might just go for the hell of it.

Trip to London sounds like a good plan Chat, EADD Foo Fighters drug taking excursion anyone? I'll bring the cocaine (for myself ;)).

Like Deftones, some of their stuff anyway. Been meaning to listen to more Tool but haven't got round to it, don't really know any of their stuff.

Steady on Dan, next thing you know... you'll be embedding those links & sprouting something about raas being satan's spawn.

Trying to think what bands I want to see... Foo Fighters, Muse, Metallica (again...), The Skints, LTJ, Pepper (doubt they'll come to UK though) ... many others I'm sure. Bit brain dead right now.

Surprisningly, I was one of only a few people who went through a phase of listening to Deftones at school, this is the track that I remember most:

Deftones - My Own Summer

I don't know many Deftones songs, I like Passenger. Whenever a band I like plays I just go, even if I've seen 'em before. Almost went to both Eminem dates but stopped myself because I'm stupidly stingy and was kicking myself after. Suppose it's easier for me living so close to London tho, everyone goes there on tour. Must be harder for you up in Scotland Chat, kind of one of the reasons I stayed reasonably close to London for uni was the whole being able to see bands thing haha. Priorities.
