looks lethal i've had something similar from the local cornershop that tasted of ginger and fire.

do they sell buckfast outside of scotland i'd really like to try try it but i've never seen it

Ginger and fire, what an awesome sounding taste! I love real ginger ale, my grandma used to make stuff that'd burn your throat!

Buckfast is sold out of Scotland aye, but usually (in my experience) in asian run shops in city areas. I found some in Newcastle, and Manchester. In Manchester it was always available in rougher parts of town, in offies that had a glass partition separating customer from shop keeper. Not managed to find any in Bristol yet, though there's a BL'er told me there's some in a shop up his way, I'll have to ask him to get me some for next time I see him.

I've only seen it in predominantly Jamaican/African areas of Bristol, i'd never seen it until I moved here.
 
i'll be keeping a look out for it.

just read some interesting buckfast facts.

I've seen that drink quite often behind the counter and wondered wtf it was. Now I know.

I also saw this behind the counter yesterday, and went back for it today.

You do the drinkies thing in some style I must say, missus. I have a soft spot for brightly-coloured sweety-booze myself and that stuff appears to fill both criteria so pour a lil nip for me too, please =D

PS: Coffee is as exciting as it gets here tonight. It's not even pink or owt :\
 
You just need to take ome psychedelic drugs then Shambles, everything could be pink then (possibly).
 
Just managed to drink an entire carton of Rubicon mango juice in about 10 mins. LOVE IT! The carton also informs me that it is National Mango Week. How about that.
 
Go mango, man go! Always liked Rubicon (cans of particularly) but not seen it in years and they don't sell it round here I don't think :(

Spadey: Pink elephants I have heard of... pink coffee could be a concern. Will seriously consider your advice anyway though :D
 
mango week was the last week in may, asian corner shops are the place to go for rubicon. they are not allowed to open a shop without selling it. not sure if that is going to help you much shambles as by the sounds of it you live in wooden hut in the great outdoors far away from civilization and its conveniences

i've tried quite a few of those sidekick drinks in shot glass portions (they actually sell them in little shot glasses with lids on in my local corner shopy), they do a nice fudge one.

stay away from the lime green sidekick. i'm not sure what flavor it is trying to be but having a sip of toilet duck would be more palatable

i've got a stella on the go now. the newish 4% stuff. i prefer this wife slapper stuff rather than the full on wifebeating gear

i think they have also dropped the 'reassuringly expensive' tagline now, because its not expensive and never has been.
 
Pint can of Irn Bru. World cup limited edition, typical of the shop here to only get them in once the WC finished.

My local wetherspoons is run by a bunch of people I know, the shift manager being a very up her own arse 22 year old girl who is basically a jobs worth adhering to every rule Spoons HQ send back to her..
One of the barmen is extremely chilled out and a proper legend.. Anways lasso walks off, Barguy runs up to me saying he needs to borrow me for a minute.. Basically he wanted me to press the buttons on the fruit machine for him, cos he wasnt allowed to play it.. anyways under his instruction and with only £1 in the machine "I" won £70 lol... i didnt have a fuckin clue what was goin on, i don't do fruities. he was fuckin lovin it but had to persaude his line manager id won it lol.. anyways he bought he a fair few pints from his wedge afterwards anyways..

Stellas like £1 a can these ends.. cheaper in supermarkets (I bought 20 440ml Stella for £10 in morrisons(Newcastle)) once
