double ditto, only i've drank not enough rather than too much.

casillero del diablo - cabernet sauvignon

good shit for the money

On top of 4 cans of cider earlier , the rest of this litre bottle best mean I sleep tonight. I succeeded last night, and slept for 4 hours (with aid of Zopiclone + booze + G, I don't want to take one tonight) 'til sounds of kids woke me this morning, I'm hoping for a rewind tonight.

Somewhere in the middle IMO. Anejo #7 being at the top. That shit is so tasty! Even the white Havana Club is fucking delicious and not many (any?) white rums are.

Nearly all white rums are drinkable if you use mixers, the exception is the stuff you can buy for 5 cents or some other ridiiculously low amount in cuban rum shops, you can even put tu Kola into that to mask the taste but will know about it the next day.

None of the dark havana clubs ought to mixed, I think the Añejo 15 is top of the range, dear even in Cuba and if memory serves me right not worth splashing out on, the 7 is just as good for sipping. The 3 year old should be used in a cocktail or with a mixer it is not quite good enough for sipping and does add extra flavour to the finished drink, at least for a little while.

Drinking Gordons mixed half and half with freshly squeezed oranges and a tiny drop of sours swirled through with crushed ice.

Currently sipping water but had some alcoholic ginger beer earlier - it was lovely.

I tried Weston's Organic Cider last night too and really liked it! 8o Spade was right, damn tasty stuff. Does it come in a drier version, cause it was quite sweet.

I love to drink spirts neat but rum is one that works much better with a mixer IMO. Rum & Coke with a freshly squeezed chunk of lime is the tastiest drink ever. It's a match made in heaven. :D

I wish I had an Anejo #7 with coke right now.

Keep meaning to get some of that but I rather suspect it'd be the end of me

Glad you liked. It's not *that* sweet I don't think but then I'm probably just used to it by now. You don't get a drier version of the Organic ones but there's plenty of dry ciders around but didn't you try a dry cider before and didn't like it?

Just never happy are you. :p

No I'm not :|

I really enjoyed the fresh apple taste, the smoothness of it, just the right fizz too. So it would be perfect if it was just that tiny weeny bit drier :D But yeh, I'd buy Weston's again.

Having a lunchtime glass of red - purely for medicinal purposes of course 8)

^ ohhh it's good. Try the Westons Special Reserve, it's not as sweet, more or less the same price (sometimes cheaper) and it's 8.2%!! really lovely stuff tastewise too...

If you want something drier...hmm...maybe Henneys?? They usually stock that in big sainsburies/tescos...

Drinking rooibos & licorice tea with manuka honey - awww yum

I second Henneys as being a delicious cider but tbh I don't notice much difference in sweetness between the Organic and Henneys. Just see what Westons your local supermarket has in stock Kate it'll tell you on the label if it's dry / extra dry but I envisage you coming on here moaning that it's not as 'fresh, smooth and appley tasting' as the organic. :p

I've got a bottle of Westons Vintage in the fridge I think, gonna open that soon.

Well Spade it was the first drop of cider I've enjoyed since I was 16 and sneaking into pubs for snakebites. Usually can't stand the stuff these days, so pretty chuffed i liked the organic. Maybe it's a good thing as I couldn't down bottles of it :D

Drinking mango squash.

My tipples of choice are red wine, gin & tonic n' champagne parttime, anything else is a deviation and considered experimental.

Like cider :\

Champagne and red wine are fucking ace. Campus is fucking baws! Shame on you. :p
