What would you NOT name your kid?

My best friend as a kid was named Jet. He had a brother named Rocky and a sister named Sunshine. I kinda liked those names though when I was a kid. It seemed cool to me because it was unique.

Unique name can also be bad for kids though...

Like a white girl name Shaniqua...

...or Princess Consuela, that's right out.

The worst though, IMO is guys named Kimberly or Kelley.

What the hell is up with naming guys that? Totally wrong.

That also reminds me of the Family Guy episode where they show the television show "Sherry and the Anus."

all my anti-names stem from the names of childhood bullies;

i've never call a daughter for mine; mary-anne, giselle, tara,

son; scott, garett, andrew
 
It kills me that people cannot properly name their kids.

Some examples:

I know someone who named their son Zepplin. Fucking hippies.
Co-workers who named their daughters Precious & Passion8(
An old co-worker named Thong. YES, THONG. He was Asian.
Went to school with a guy named Richard Stiffler. RICHARD STIFFLER.....
Poor guy. :(
Heard of people naming their kids Acura~like the car, Aleze~like the alcohol.......wow.
Co-worker knew a girl in school~
Last name: Christmas
First name: Merry. Fucking idiots.

People, please stop giving your kids dumbass names!

That stiffler one is funny. A girl that used to go to my high school was called Anita Pool(e?). No shit, there were some other funny ones, I might have to see if I can get hold of a yearbook sometime. Oh and according to this thread my name sucks :p
 
John, Paul (Saul is OK), Mary (Miriam fine), Mark, Luke, Matthew, Christopher, Christine, (anything with Christ in it), Peter, Thomas, etc.

Also, Debra. It's fucking Deborah. Which is a great name, actually. And Sara and Rachel. Fuck dropping letters.

same as naming a girl "madison" (that is such a lame name)...and if im not mistaken.."carol" used to be a boys' name until the early 20th century...

~Regardless, I'm gonna be defending the name MARK because it belongs to my SO. Besides, it's meaning is Warrior, Defender.

Also, Melvin pretty much sucks.

I also hate it when people give their babies first names that are similar if not practically identical to their last names: Like Rob Roberts, Billy Williams or William Williams, John Johnson (a guy I work with), Tom Tompson,
Pete(r) Peterson...etc....
