What would you do for $5 (£3.096)???

Can't believe you've just found this website Mugz been around for a few years.

No Mugz, the smart thing to do is RE-SELL stuff from Fiverr for more than a Fiver. ;)

I'm not wasting time doing anything for £3 unless it takes 3 minutes maybe. I'm happy to take £20 of someone for not doing any work and passing the order onto someone on Fiverr however. :D

Yeah, that's exactly what I was thinking as soon as I saw the uk version which lets you offer your services for more than just a fiver, gonna get on that like a car bonnet.

Something stupid like my gig on fiverr though would just take me about a minute to do and could make me a few quid :D

LOL look at the bigger picture Mugz, buying something for £3 odds on Fiverr then selling for £5 on FiveSquids minus the quid they take in payment leave you with less than £1 profit. :D

Think bigger.

You're not going to make much if any money off your gig mate, the power sellers on Fiverr have 20 gigs each and they are mostly offering stuff that people need / want (or getting their tits out). People won't just buy any old shite for the sake of it. Plus to get buyers you really need to be driving your own external traffic to your gig because pretty much every market / niche is well and truly catered for already and no one will buy from you over a top-rated seller unless your gig is 100% unique and actually decent and there's already a ton of jokers on there offering to do video messages wearing masks / daft costumes / dressed as Santa / Jesus / a hippy etc.

Look for services that are clearly worth more than $5 and then sell on elsewhere for much more. There's lots of good design and 'gift' gigs. I had people on Fiverr knock up really cool digital gifts for mates birthdays, few of them said it was the best gift they ever had. It was just silly stuff too, one was a speed drawing of a birthday cake and balloons and a personal message, aother a speed grafitti message and one of a mate turned into his own comic book strip. Shit like that is worth more than $5.

I meant you could buy something for £3 on fiverr and sell it for £20 on fivesquids possibly

My gig is just for fun really to see if anyone does buy it. Will be funny to make a video.

Fivesquids = £5 Mugz. Also FiveSquids has hardly any traffic so it's not great. There's hundreds of Fiverr copycat sites but only Fiverr really has the visitors, it's in the top 200 most popular websites on the net.

If you want people to buy your video message you're going to need to put up a sample video message so they can see what it will be like first.

If I wanted to watch Mugz babble nonsense while wearing a mask, all I would have to do is go into Tinychat whilst Mugz is on benzos...which happens to cost nothing.

on fivesquids there are tensquids and twentysquids options too though, so you could make more than a £1 proit.

Except there's hardly any traffic on those sites and as MM pointed out you haven't got a fanny.

What you need to do is something more on the level of making a site like fiverrs.com, only with some other original idea, and make it turn a profit. i.e get rich on the internet.

The fiverr website script is freely available to download so making that type of site is a piece of piss, you just upload it your hosting but there's already hundreds of sites trying to do the same, some straight up copying Fiverr (FiveSquids, GigBux, TenBux, Sixerr, Fourer, FittyTown) and others in different niches (SEO, design, spells & magic etc). You need a proper original idea and then you need to get people selling followed by traffic.

im not saying copy fiverr.com, im saying the concept of coming up with your own original idea in the first place pays off more than being a consumer of other sites like that.

The challenge is to make it profitable, which as facebook has shown, isn't easy.

I'll make a sample video when pops has gone to bed :D Any suggestions for what I should say in my 30 second video.

I completely agree, original ideas are not always easy to come by, original ideas followed by motivation to act on them are even harder to come by.

Let's be fair FB hasn't done too badly. The people behind it are super rich. As of last month Zuckerberg was worth $9.4 BILLION, #36 on the Forbes list.

Any suggestions for what I should say in my 30 second video.

Tell them what you're offering, why they need it and say it's exclusive to Fiverr.com. Then get your tits out.

Probably no such thing as a truly original idea anyway.

They know what I'm offering, they really don't need it, it's a novelty that is a week too late as halloween is over, lol.

Probably one or two still around.

Well you've sold me anyway Mugz. Where can I buy? 8)
