what will happen if all people on earth take DMT ? world peace?

I think that even if a lot of people were traumatized by it, they would bond over the trauma. People bond over trauma every single day. It weakens people, or I should say that it gives people the idea that they are weakened. So they see strength in numbers and comfort one another. And since everyone on Earth went trough it, the comforting wouldn't rapidly take sides.

I think it would be a lot like the first contact with aliens. Some people would be grouped together in fear of the unknown. Others would be dancing for the aliens, excited by the unknown. And a few people would shoot guns.

And a lot of people would have their religious views seriously challenged afterward. What happens when religious folk get gay crushes? "God hates f-gs!" signs come out. Confusion combined with denial tends to make people ramp up their old beliefs to try and convince themselves of them over again. So a lot of extremism would follow such an event. Let's not forget that we BLers are the extreme minority on the global scale.

I do think that a lot of addicts would get clean from it, which would be cool.

Quite simply everyone would be high on dmt, can't really see any drastic change happening. Dmt is different for everyone

Sorry to go OT but come on...really? Can DMT 'make' someone (perhaps with a religion) gay? You know in all my years I have only met a few people who call themselves 'atheists' and of the majority of people I have met that are not atheists (and many consider themselves "Christians") have never said anything like "God Hates Fags." I have actually never seen anyone in real life holding a sign like that. I think you are confusing a group of a few hundred in a fringe extremist group that espouses hate (and makes the news often).... with people who have 'faith' and know their "God" as a loving God.

I will say for sure that it does not seem like DMT opens many BLers up to an open mind when it comes to people of faith.

Go to a forum that talks about faith, replace psychedelics with a Messiah...and you may seem the same close-minded ideas to mind expanding substances like DMT.

Hey I am not picking on you Red Leader....more the repeated theme of anti-religion and people who feel superior over those who claim a faith....I see it over and over among this subculture of people and I am just calling it out....your post was just the one that made me decide to say something.

I swear it seems almost as if many people open to altering consciousness must simultaneously hate religion or folks that claim to have a religion....or their heads explode.

I think I went about saying that completely wrong. Bad example, I should not have used such an extreme case to demonstrate a point. Or attempted humour. Obviously religion does not "make people gay." The theme I wanted to bring out was that there is a lot of fear that goes into the meeting point of politics and religion, and that the DMT experience would either eliminate those fears or reinforce them in individuals.

I did include the word "extremism," to be fair. So if you want to say that these are only folks on TV and not a representation of any large group, I will say "ya...extremists."

Please don't think that one joke about what a fanatical might do after DMT concludes anything about my feelings toward religion or faith. I am on mobile now, so I gotta be brief. But I will try and rewrite that point later with real elaboration.

I don't...and I didn't mean to appear as though I was picking on you.....its more the words I read reminded me of a theme I see....I clearly took your words out of context to make a point.... that was just me indulging myself....I'm sure if we hung out we would have fun so nothing personal. :)

I don't think it would change anything, aside from a lasting influence on art perhaps

I think it would bring society closer to peace or utopia if 25 percent of all people had DMT experiences, as opposed to 50 75, 100 or less than 25 like it is now. Also, I think it would only work if none of the trips were connected. A 25 percent with isolated" yet similar experiences.

I wish we would all stop saying "it finds you" and all that garbage. I've known some REALLY scumbag people who've tried DMT. it isn't really a matter of it finding you so much as it is you spending all day calling and texting all sorts of people for drugs.

Being open-minded makes you try drugs -- trying drugs doesn't make you open-minded. -.-

DMT or dimethyltriptamine exists in all of us. It is a naturally occurring bodily chemical residing in the brain. (PLEASE CORRECT ANY SCIENTIFIC MISTAkeS)

I am writing this post from my use and research.

I have read that upon the onset of death - a more natural or I suppose a horrid death (cancer for many years inoperable) instead of a gun to head or train hitting you, that a small amount of DMT is naturally released from the brain to again naturally and I suppose aid in the comfort of you'd meeting your making. Whoever this may be to you. I am an atheist and I have never said "god hates fags" hence the last sentence. People hate people. Just the same as people not playing with a full deck, with guns kill people. Guns don't kill people. Any way perhaps this natural release of DMT and dopamine and etc. is where the "white light" and out of body experiences come from - from people that have had near death or have died and been revived comes from.

One thing is for certain: the world would cease to function for at least five minutes

Second for sure; many would not have a pleasant experience if not forewarned and prepared more so a horrid or terrifying experience due to the inability to move and the most real hallucinations I have ever seen.

DMT patterns as I described before and the wormholes or tubes and the infinitely perfect "rooms" it places you in are so far beyond any regular human design. We only use a small percentage of our brains daily. My artwork has certainly been influenced by DMT and other psychedelics mainly LSD. Yet when I tried to recreate by hand a tube I was sucked through with the patterns and vibrant colors I failed miserably. All I could do is write about it. I believe that there is a buried key here somewhere that perhaps if studied and tested by real scientists and pharmacologists, psychotherapists, and the users could truly uncover something un fathomable to our existence as of yet. Just IMO.

Conjecture by Strassman not supported by any evidence, just like the whole pineal gland thing.

well all evolve as a species, it would be a beautiful fucking thing, it would shrink the human ego and we would be able to exist peacfully, of course some people wouldnt be able to handle it and would perhaps go off the deep end but thats Darwinism at its finest

This is the only planet in our galaxy the spiritual evolution on which is driven by the motif of individuality. The proposed scenarios is actually detrimental to the evolutionary plan: everyone is progressing at his or her own pace.

Nope. I've smoked DMT and im kind of a douchebag. I have friends who are absoulte sociopaths too who smoke the shit regularly and get other people on it.

Even if you got everyone into a proper aya experience, everyone's different. That's the only way society can function. Ying yang. Inverse. Competition. Evil. It happens...:\

mabey . but by DMT i meant the Ayahuasca tea provided by shamans . smoking it with your friends is different story .

ya fasho. But im jus sayin I always got a real inner workings, cogs and gears, bee hive lesson from DMT. and I think the same thing would happen if lots of peeps had tea from shamans. Because The drug amplifies your specific order of brain particles. Soooo there's no way it would make everyone the same. If anything it would strengthen the differences.

And if you think magics real, well then everyones soul is different.
And there portal third eye zone would go to different places.

If not, for anything to work people have to play different parts. Isn't a big part of the whole thing, knowing what your supposed to do, and seeing the big picture. Anyone who cooperates for a common goal has different jobs.

Why so serious? Get it? i jus playn. don be such a womenz

Hmm, if you believe in the tipping point theory, where dramatic changes can occur once a critical mass embraces an idea, then perhaps significant changes would happen. If everyone in the world had experience with this, especially under shamanic supervision, that might tip the scale irreversibly. That said, world peace would unlikely result, but I believe we'd a more peaceful world
