Ideally, one should begin training around age 16 and follow that continuous path for a solid decade before getting on.
It's difficult. Speaking from the perspective of someone who's been in athletics since the age of 9 and lifting since 17. After a year of lifting I saw individuals picking up juice who were younger than me (16-17) and making incredible gains. I spent 3 years absolutely dedicated in the gym, researching nutrition and supplements and in the end it felt as if making even prime lean gains naturally was a waste of time compared to those who chose the route of juicing.
So rather than quit and end up pursuing a life of partying, I picked up a needle and started using peptides. I made good gains with ipamorelin and cjc, but it wasn't to the extent of what I wanted. I had my natural blood testosterone taken and I, like the rest of my family, was very low. Therefore I began running test at 20; I was officially one of those "idiotic" young juicers.
The point is, I never had any real support behind my lifting. The people I'm surrounded by have no passion for body building and it wasn't until a few months ago that I started to inspire people and meet new lifting partners in the gym. Anabolic steroids are not just a compound, but a lifestyle that one has to accept and be devout to. I've long since accepted the possible side effects of my actions and see that the most harmful side effect is the social stigma of steroid use.
