<-----I have always been one to be easily swayed by a mob...or mod in this case. I just want to know what the meaning is behind these purple avatars, since I am supporting the cause n all. Free trade? Cancer? Barney the Dinosaur? What am I rallying against?

Oct 20 is a day dedicated to the rememberence of the victims of homophobic violence. It is called "Spirit Day." Apparently people wear purple clothing and such IRL, so the avatar is BL's support for this.
