I keep seeing posts about weed here and it's had me missing weed despite me reacting badly to it for a while. Decided to try and give it another shot. Don't know if I just found a couple of strains that work for me so far, or if last nights Prazosin is keeping me from having that initial fight or flight response from the weed. So far it has fluctuated between neutral and enjoyable which is a massive improvement from what it has been recently. It has been helping me fall asleep

Just took tonight's 4mg of Prazosin

I think to some one with low tolerance or one that's only use it recreationally then yes the 2 together can be very complimentary to each other. Luke i experiment taking 75mg methadone with 100mg cyclizine and was nodville all day long...

Sorry for the slight absence but I'm heavy sick at the moment with my lungs, kidneys and prostate.

Had a half day today so after a bit of household cleaning and a food run I'm kicked back for the evening. 😎

Just had my third nice dab of this Cereal Milk crumble and probably another joint soon... maybe some London Pound Cake.

It's been over 60 days since I've gotten high on anything, except for the weed yesterday which I'm still not too partial to. I'm hoping that the weed will help my sleep as I try stopping the mirtazapine.

Quiet late afternoon/evening at the house, just chilling and biding my time until grub and bed lol. I was fine today after I got going, but this morning was the first time my methadone taper nausea has actually made me vomit... hope that's not a super common occurrence from here on out. I've still got 7 months on this shit lol...

Anyway, this evening's cocktail:

5mg apixaban
10mg olanzapine
300mg gabapentin
50mg diphenhydramine
59mg methadone
a bowl of London Pound Cake here a few minutes ago, and I think I'll have a joint of something with some Cereal Milk crumble thrown in for dessert. 😉

I don't know much about it but as I understand it, long ago an extremely dangerous medication called Diconal was a prescrption drug in the UK. It contained 10mg of dipipanone (a methadone homologue) and 30mg of cyclizine hydrochloride (supposidly to treat the nausea caused by the opioid). Very quickly it was realized how deadly injecting that concoction was, so it was taken off the market. But cyclizine hydrochloride was still a [P] medication i.e. every pharmacy sold it. So people hooked on Diconal figured out that injecting a mixture of methadone (Physeptone) and cyclizine hydrochloride (Valoid) approximated the same rush.

A decade passed until someone on MMT with supervised consumption injected a cyclizine tablet (!) just curious to know what effect(s) (if any) it would have... It turned out that it was, essentially, the same. In fact it appears that ALL of the 3,3-diphenylheptanone class opioids consumed with cyclizine produced the same rush. I mean, methadone, dipipanone, phenadoxone and possibly even IC-26 will do the same.

The thing is, I don't think anyone REALLY knows why it works. I've read isolated case-reports on people given cyclizine lactate (which is far more water-soluble than the hydrochloride) developed an addiction to the stuff. Nobody has ever been able to nail down what the abstainance syndrome IS - other than nasty.

But other than for nausea, cyclizine really is best avoided. It just seems like it mixes badly with a whole range of other drugs.

My friend has some old cyclizine tablets and they are legal here so i wanna try them wth my morphine. However it seems morphine wont produce the high meth wth cyclizine will so ya

AFAIK that special synergy is limited to the 3,3-diphenylheptanone class of opioids (and maybe bioisosteres thereof).

It WOULD be interesting to know if something like dextromoramide (Palfium) has that same synnergy but I've asked around and nobody even KNOWS someone who abused Palfium who is still alive to ask... which I suggest may indicate that it's generally a bad idea.

BTW I believe some first-generation antihistamines were classed as 'opiate-sparing' but I know while patent applications were made and one combination even made it into human trials... but no data on those trials has ever been made public (AFAIK).
