Hola pana
If you’re using the magnesium for laxative purposes magnesium citrate works a little better for that than the magnesium oxide (of course you know your body the best but I figured to let you know if you haven’t tried it)
Oh wow I didn’t know that about the kidneys, geez sometimes it feels like everything’s bad for the kidneys (I know when I used to be prescribed it for muscle pain my doctor told me to drink a lot of water with it) … but yea if the citrate works better than the oxide at least you can take less.Hey.
Thanks for the info. I haven't tried the citrate, though I used to use sulfate - Epsom salts - for a monthly cleanse. It worked, like everything must go, but from what I've read recently magnesium in any formulation is supposed to be bad for the kidneys? Which I've recently found out is an issue for me. But if the citrate might work a little better, cause let's face it, the oxide ain't shit, pun intended, which is why 2000 more mg on the wake up. And yeah, Epsom salts make me able to shit through a screen door from ten feet out lol, so a more balanced option would be great, I'll check it out.![]()
Have you ever been prescribed Remeron/Mirtazapine? I had never tried it before, and I also had a very bad benzo addiction and am just starting to get my sleep back on track after being sober for a couple months. But I dealt with some bad nightmares too, and they have basically been alleviated after taking this for a couple weeks.A few months ago I was sleeping sober, and loved it. Now, I take some kratom and a "legal" benzo. I'm super disappointed in myself for letting it get to this point again. I sleep like shit now, and I wake up in borderline kratom withdraw everyday. Thankfully the benzo is long acting, and I only feel the need to dose in the evening.
Benzos stop my constant nightmares, it's the only thing that works. I've tried everything, but nothing works like they do. I wake up covered in sweat and screaming without them, and it's not from the withdrawal.
Benzos completely ruined my life, and yet, here we are again...

Ah, yeah I was just reading a little about that recently, good thing to note. At least for me personally, it hasn't made me as wholly ravenous or caused as much weight gain as quetiapine or olanzapine. That's just my own personal metric, and that is of course a super high bar.Remeron is certainly not a bad drug, much better than some of the alternatives and I had my own success with it for a while, I just want to throw one caveat out there, for whatever it's worth - watch your weight. I know it's something, a side effect you hear all the time with these classes of drugs, but that shit will put pounds on you in an instant if you're not careful. I put on 70 pounds in less than 90 days, at a time when I didn't need to and wasn't trying to gain weight. Watched the same happen many times over with other individuals as well.
Just my two cents, based on my experience. But the stuff is a pretty effective sleep aid, and with some limited benefit as an antidepressant as well.
A whole box of cereal AND a whole box of ice cream? Don't mind if I do...Omg seroquel munchies, ugh lol, been there.![]()

I made another drug findWhat a coincidence, I was also moving a dresser around today and underneath found a pressed xanax bar from about 18 months ago. I wish it was heroin, but I'll take take what the universe provides.
