Morning blueworld

Sleep much last night? No .. had a few hrs and they um... yeah.. I got a few hrs and was planning on sleeping further now but can't so after I had my coffee I took a quick drive.

1x 20mg thc toffee ( got a pack of 10 )

Yeah so just bought some edibles for the day also bought a 200mg thc chocolate log thingy. Looks yummy.

My morning fix is soft nowadays and I am proud of it. Got my little routine. It used to be so hard for me in the earliest hours of the day !

Cooked and ate food,
gonna enjoy a pure sativa landrace joint.

Off today for starters, so I'm chilling and enjoying my second cup of Eight O' Clock Colombian black, vaping nicotine, taking the normal, boring scripts and fucking around online. 1.5g lion's mane, 65mg methadone and some weed here shortly, maybe a few gabapentin.

Speaking of weed, waiting for the morning/midday rain to clear out before I head out for tonight's entertainment: seeing Cypress Hill, Atmosphere, Lupe Fiasco and the Pharcyde in concert. Should be, ah, dope lol. Got 4 nice joints already rolled to take with. Should be fun. 😎

had 10mg oxycodone this morning (it's mid afternoon now) - has been massively helpful as had extra walking/physical activity to do

@Psychlone Jack do you find the Lions Mane helpful? I know it's difficult to pinpoint precise effects when we are consuming cocktails, but can you? How does it help you? I know a fair few people who take same/similar and have tried myself previously but slipped out of using it for reasons unknown

75mg venlafaxine followed by 4mg Hydromorphone and 20mg methylphenidate IV
Then 100mg IV morphine, then off to work\

Going to pick up my 150mg of Kadian on my lunch as well as 10 dilaudid and hopefully some coke or crack....maybe ice god forbid....forgot to take my morning and pre work tokes so feeling a little nauseous today

I don't know of you have tried concerta aka ER version of Ritalin ( aka methylphenidate ) and if you have, how would you compare it to elvanse or other meds in same class and mixture of chemicals. Like there seems 2 be 2 in elvanse, the long acting and then dextro which is short acting by my knowledge so how does it have a 12 hr or longer half life. Does is with that half life help in long run or do you feel dips and so on.

Only asking as only methylphenidate is available here, either short acting Ritalin 5-20mg IR or concerta with long acting halflife and higher doses

dextro isn't short lasting at all

Elvanse/Vyvanse is Lisdexamfetamine which is a pro-drug for dex. It's not strictly extended release, more like delayed-release. It fully converts to Dex after 2 hours or so. 70mg Elvanse will give you around 22mg Dex.

Going to the clinic to pick up my 75mg methadone. And taking 50mg promethazine orally. 100mg zoloft. A couple of lucky strike cigarettes. And plenty of snacks for my voracious appetite. Should be a great day.

I was prescribed 20mg IR methylphenidate split into 3 doses (10+5+5) from the age of 9 and switched to 18mg of concerta when I was 11 which I stayed on until my late teens. Then I was prescribed 36mg of Concerta for the second half of my 20s as well as the generic off label brands which claim to be identical (they aren't). Plus a 5mg evening booster of IR methylphenidate as needed. Concerta was fairly smooth and consistent throughout the day but the generics were quite bumpy; I'd feel like it was wearing off, start crashing and then it would kick in again. Horrible crash with both of them around the 10 hour mark on the 36mg dose.

I've been prescribed Elvanse (initially 30mg and then up to 50mg with 5mg of dexamphetamine as an evening booster on an as needed basis since my early 30s. Elvanse is smoother and generally lasts me 12 hours (at a push if I keep busy, probably closer to 10 hours of effective stimulation in most cases) with less of a crash at the end of the day and some residual stimulation/focus extending into the following day. I was also briefly prescribed 5mg of dexamphetamine 4x a day which did the job but I found timing the redoses without any overlap or drop off a bit tricky so I only kept up with that for a few months.

In terms of comparisons, the stimulation from Concerta/methylphenidate felt a bit gentler. It helped me keep stay on task once I'd started doing something but it doesn't give you the same kick up the arse as soon as it kicks in like amphetamine based drugs do. I think the less severe crash from amphetamine based drugs may indeed be down to the longer half life, around 6 hours for amphetamine Vs 3 hours for methylphenidate, I believe.

Edit: sorry for the life story. First day back on elvanse has got me all Colombo.

Im still taking it quite easy with substances and im still going to the MAT clinic every day. Meeting the doctor tomorrow so hopefully ill get some take home doses again.

Dude, Vyvanse is available here. Same as Elvanse.

It is the lysine molecule bindings that make the d-amp release over at least 9 hours.

Example, I am on 50mg Vyvanse once a day.
I am getting approximately 20mg d-amp released over the whole day.

Blows any methylphenidate out of the picture IME.

From my side thanks for taking the time to explain and your own personal exp. Much appreciated.. so overall you find Elvanse better then Concerta.
