Interesting, I read that it also acts as an acetylcholenisterase inhibitor. Altough I wonder about the structure and pharmacodynamics of its tropane alkaloids

Yeah, I just got it recently when I was buying mulungu and Passion flower extract so I dont actually know that much about it yet. There are a few interesting articles online looking at the tropane alkaloids, it seems like a potentially worthwhile plant to me though. Mild but pleasant.

Do you know if any of these articles go over the molecular structure of the alkaloids and dive deeper into the pharmacology of them?

Im not sure I was just glancing over them today, there was a pubmed article that seemed interesting but it wasnt freely available in its full form

There were some other articles too but I haven't looked at them closely, I dont think these alkaloids are very well researched though.

Just realized Catuaba can technically refer to a few plants so I should mention I am using "Trichilia catigua" the other main one being "Erythroxylum vaccinifolium".

I tried finding some more studies but only found a study stating that ”methylpyrrole” tropane alkaloids were found.

I did find a study on Erythroxylum Mooni though, could be another legal plant with potentially psychoactive effects

Edit: Now looking closer at the structure of some of the alkaloids in Mooni they might behave closer to that of datura aka anticholinergic 😕

and a joint of Triangle Mintz a few minutes ago. I think it's gonna shape up to a heavy weed day lol.

I had to go to my doc office early this morning for some labs, I go back Tuesday and I think then they're FINALLY going to start my testosterone treatment back up. I've been off TRT for a year now and still being on methadone and tapering at that, I'm sure the benefit would be huge and immediate. Just started a new and more physically demanding job too lol so fingers fuckin' crossed big time.🤞

Crack that they are I'm laying off the beans though, there's a nap to be had later. Working a 5 to midnight instead of my usual in before dawn and out before noon. More weed, more gabapentin, and I'll probably take the evening methadone before I go in. A-game and all that, plus today was a taper drop day. 😉

What is DHC like? It doesent exist on this side of the pond. I get prescribed morphine and gabapentin but i cannot drink on opiates at all. I do like a drink when im off opiates but when im on them im a total teetotaler except maybe for a pint of Guinness or 2. Alcohol just turns my stomach when im on opiates

Ya we dont have that brand here. We just get the mscontins and generics and also the kadians and m-eslons. The eslons are by far the easiest to deal with you just crush the beads. But i dont find the mscontins ive been shooting them almost 20 years now lol


Shooting a 100 or 200mg pill would be a waste though cause you can only fit 60mg's in a ml of water

I used to shoot with 2,5ml syringes 2x100mg you always get lesss than whats in the pill there was a report that you loose a fair bit in the process. sterifilter are best
