What was your good deed for the day????

If you have the grace to do a good deed selflessly then surely thats reward in itself. Blathering on about it on a forum or to your friends or family kinda misses the point and is rather self serving ( or egotistical) don't you think?

But if it inspires other people to do a similar good deed and restores faith in human nature isn't that sharing positivity?

Yeah, I agree with you and mugz about this tbh. Anything that nudges Spade into developing some empathy for his fellow humans has a bit of merit in it

It is yeah but for the individual its likely to build on ego which is going to be counter-productive. So not an entirely positive deed. Generally other people get to see the good deed or hear about it anyway.

Will we be seeing diagrams and picture charts any time soon Mailmonkey? That's always my favourite part of the month.

Sad isn't it? Seeing this obviously brain washed call centre / office monkey repeating his companies pish spiel about customer service and actually believing it. You're just a number you mug, you're being exploited so your bosses can get rich on your labour.

Bothered. %)

Here, I'll personally give you a whole page to retort...

WHEN YOU ACTUALLY HAVE A JOB.

Enjoy sponging off the state and living with mummy, ginger pubes.

;)

You've got a job...in a call centre....unlucky! Oh and I am enjoying it. %)

A shame for you, MM. I'm incredibly lucky in that I work for a company with a huge belief in providing solid customer service, and more so, that I actually believe in helping people, regardless of their manner or tone. Additionally, I have more tools and more power to help them, than most customer service roles people find themselves in. ;)

I was going to say something along the same lines. Somecunt that actually believes the shite spouted at them during training. The ultimate call centre monkey. You'll be a manager in no time Urbain. Un-fucking-lucky.

Ahh, assumption. More than likely brain rot, brought on by sitting around your gaff all day, eating fatty kebabs and drinking cheap cider - such a sad existence for you.

I don't work in a call centre, you fool. ;)

Cheers for the encouragement dude! Fingers crossed. :)

Office, call centre or shop. It's irrelevant. The sad fact is you've eaten up all the shite they've fed you and now you spew it back out to customers actually believing in it all.

Today i haven't really done anything good or bad . I have broken the law a few times but we all do that almost every day think about it , especially if you drive .

my karma is fine ok .

Again, when you actually have a job, feel free to contribute to the discussion.

Ta! :)

If Urbain's counting each and every happy delighted customer phone call as a good deed, i'll be booking in well over 500 good deeds tomorrow when I go and shove mail in people's doors...

is this what an altruistic good deed has become these days, doing your fucking job?

Please tell me you are actually joking? Fair enough I've done the same job years ago, there is a sense of you've helped someone by providing good service, but your getting paid for it are you not? Or are you Amazon's top volenteer?
