What was your first time doing heroin like?

Hello, I'm new to this forum so I don't know if I'm posting in the right place, but hopefully I am. Anyway, I am thinking about doing heroin, I've been doing Tramadol, Codeine, Oxy etc for months and months now and I kinda want to move up the opiate ladder but first I'm doing some research on how it actually feels, and dangers etc etc. Before you ask I want to try it because my life is pretty boring, sad etc. I have schizoaffective depression and I use drugs to basically numb my feelings and I think heroin would be the best at doing that, behind Methamphetamine of course because that actually makes you happy haha.

Anyway, what was it like for you the first time? Oh and how do you know when you've hit a vein or not? Thank you so much.

If you've never tried it before i wouldn't try injecting first time. Sounds like a recipe for disaster. If you have to try it, chasing small amounts at first would surely be the sensible thing to do. I have virtually no heroin experience though. First time I tried it I sniffed a bit, as I'd heard this was one of the least effective (and therefore safest) ROAs.
Anyway hopefully someone with more practical experience will offer you advice, the best of which will probably be not to bother.
