What was your first psychedelic?

I've been curious when you guys and gals lost your (psychedelic) virginity? At one age and what substance? How was the experience?
 
Low doses of LSA - 18 years old, after that MXE and after that methylcybin.

seriously! had no special revelations, but the change in perception was so intense, i couldn't believe it. auditory hallucinations, stronger CEVs than any other psych gave me, abstract thoughts, best music enhancement ever... this is why weed will always hold a special place in my heart, even though i've overdone it the last three years or so. but maybe i'm able to bring the magic back some day!

other than that, my first trip was on 20g of fresh cubes, which was interesting, but i have to say, being high the first time were way more intense...

@bone14: wtf doyou mean with "methylcybin"? 4-ho-met? (this one is rather named "metocin")
 
26yo , mushrooms... grew them myself, ate them carefully, felt the whole world change, and luckly it has persisted.... it wasnt even that big of a dose, a comfortable 1.8g

before this i had some tokes of the weed but not at a psychedelic level...
 
Many years ago...

Herb was my first.
Acid was my second.

Jr high school (middle school)
When I was fresh out of sixth grade and into seventh.

I had heard about acid in my earlier years at elementary school, but was never able to acquire any until jr high.

My elementary school was warning the parents about pieces of paper with cartoons on them that made you get messed up. Always thought it sounded awesome after that.. and sought it out.

"funny pieces of paper with cartoons on them that get you high"
Was the first time I had ever heard of any drug at all anywhere.
Back then I didn't know it was a "drug".

So in that sense, the first drug I ever knew of, was acid.
The people who introduced me to weed were the same people to give me my first hits of acid. "White blotters".

Not counting dissociatives or cannabinoids, mescaline (peruvian torch) was my first.

It's still my favorite, although I might be a little biased because it was my very first.
 
1/8th of some psyclobin with four friends when we were 15-16 years old.
For some reason that was the only time psyclobin ever gave me good vibes,
since then shrooms and me don't do to well together.
So I stick too Lucy :)
 
After some failed Salvia experiments (fortunately, can't image what that might have done to me at that point) the first real psychedelic was a very mild trip with my best friend and 1,5g cubensis shrooms each.

We must have been...16 I guess.
 
Outside of herb, my first was XTC at 19. A week later was my first try with acid.

Imagine DMT as someone's first drug experience! I'm sure it's happened in the past. Without ever having experienced an altered state, DMT would probably be the most shocking thing that could ever happen to a person.
 
my first was 4-ACETOXY-DIPT started a bit later than most at 26 it seems but I had been reading forums for years before this before taking the jump. Ive tried arpund a dozen different compounds now.
 
Marijuana...then LSD.

a half a hit of weak stuff that seemed like placebo, then received half a hit of some pretty potent stuff and tripped fairly hard in retrospect-even for a first time.
 
Well, since this forum also features dissociatives, my first "trip" was Ketamine (though I had very intense trip like experiences from Cannabis, I wouldn't refer to them in the same way) - but my first psychedelic was 4-AcO-DMT :)
 
"technically" 14 when I smoked some chronic...

But what I class as REAL psychedelics, shrooms was my first at 15 like a week before I turned 16. Had a fucking blast.

This is exactly the same for me. Except I was with a few friends and we each ate 1.5g.

I'm also happy I didn't have to deal with a "breakthrough" Salvia experience before I had a few psychedelic experiences under my belt.
 
As far as a serotonergic psychedelic, not including marijuana and mdma like everyone else, shrooms. for some reason in my area up in washington always lots of shrooms and everyone that does the pot or x has done shrooms at some point
 
Salvia Divinorum was my first proper psychedelic experience, though I'd tripped off MDMA & then weed before that.
 
My first psychedelic was AMT. I fell in love as soon as I could feel the warm embrace of IT-290's waves of euphoria and blissful flowing of everything around me like the world turned into a river... Sucks that such a beautiful chemical is gone - I've never found one to replace it. I had done DXM and smoked pot before that but those don't count.
