what was wrong with my powder?

i had some MDMA powder on the weekend, there was about as much powder as you would get from one crushed pill
snorted it all in one go, 2 hours pass and still i felt nothing from it
a friend and i split the same amount over a week ago. i felt nothing, he got a slight buzz. this time after doing the whole amount he also felt nothing

i am not a high tolerance user, nor is my friend
i tested the powder with my mandelin tester. it turned to black almost instantly. i can provide a picture of the test result if needed

so why is it that i felt nothing from the powder?
 
Was the tested powder from the exact same baggy (or w/e it was in) as the powder you snorted? And how long did it for the mandelin to change to black? Also are you sure you snorted it correctly?
 
yes, the tested powder was taken from the baggy. it changed almost instantly, under a second
fairly sure it was done correctly. not my first time. but please inform me on the correct way
 
you could have had diluted product that still had enough Mdma to make a positive and convincing test.. My advice would be to ask for crystal instead of powder next time.. But test everything you get!
 
No idea then lol.

Maybe try swallowing it next time, it lasts a lot longer and you don't get the drip and a terrible nose burn.
 
given that absorption is greater through the nose, i would assume swallowing wouldnt make a difference
also given the price, i will not be buying again
 
Sometimes when I go out with one of my really good friends and we both drop the same amount, I will roll balls and she will get absolutely nothing from it. I've been rolling longer and much more than she has, and she doesn't take anything that is known to block the affects of MDMA. For some reason it just doesn't hit her sometimes, about every other time we go out she will feel it. Once it even made her very violently sick, and we do test it before we take it just be sure we've got what we think we have.

Last time we dropped together she didn't get anything from it for about 2 1/2 hours and then after going through 2 joints on our hike it all came at her and she rolled really hard for about an hour and then it was completely gone again. No idea what's going on in her head.

It seems to me that sometimes, some people don't get it for some unknown reason.
