OK, I take that back! I think I thought the Nirvana version was better because I always saw it on MTV as a teenager and probably never saw Bowie sing it. Love Bowies stuff, more the un-Bowie (after Lets Dance) stuff though and suppose am not a REAL Bowieite

you would not believe how much of a precious, annoying, indie-kid i was in my teenage years. everything was shit and worthless and faaaar too commercial, man, if it wasn't mentioned in NME or Melody Maker. the other thing was teenage peer pressure, and once you get over that and start admitting to liking stuff that your friends don't like, the floodgates are permanently open.

however, peer pressure amongst your fellow EADDers is much stronger. i think it's hilarious (and a load of bollocks) how almost no-one here posts any popular or uncool pop music. i can only think of Bluebell and myself right now. hah.

oh wait, SHM posted Ride on Time by Black Box, so that counts. ;)
 
Ha! I posted a horribly TOTP 90s Madchester throwaway tune t'other week. But turned out to still be top. Posted "That" KLF tune just last night or so cos I properly like it... and is a classic TOTP moment. But shit is shit so I just don't post it however many teen-angst pretensions I scatter hither and yon... or don't. Bluebell posts some quality <3 and some utter bilge - don't we all :)

And after all that lil mini-rant o' nowt I can find no shite to play even ironically :(
