A year before us, while another to complete
the remnants of our time left to decipher
emotive comparison of better times
evualation of the supposed journey

Tomorrow the elusive bringer of hope
Yesterday the escapists enemy
Present being significantly challenging.

Reasonability wondering away,
while a years doom weighs down
Questioning where the time went
whether the fluactuations were favourable.

Subsisting within a life of internal thought
Scrutinising beyond any self advantage
Consumation of the human experience

Belated happiness two steps ahead
The chase manifests within
Satisfication in meeting future hopes ...
may stand little chance.

My vision is tainted.

i like this bit. a ver bad habit to get into, this self-analysis. these days i pay heed to heysenberg's uncertainty principle. the closer you examine anything, the less relationship your findings have to do with reality :D

i like the poem, it closely approximates the tumult of thoughs we sometimes have to deal with.

i like this line because lately i've been thinking about how hard it actually is to live in the present without letting your mind always wonder off. its so extremely difficult to not constantly be thinking, whether that be because you are consumed by events of the past or of the future, or even in the process of analysing the present (formulating new meanings--> through association to knowledge gained in the past), either way none of us are ever *truly* here.

that's why i like this next part and your last line too.
