hey bl. i will be going to the dentist soon, and have a lot of tooth problems. one is particularly bad, with exposed nerve. i know he will give me percs if i ask over vics, but how do i get the 10's instead of 5's? I figured i was going to tell him the truth, how in cincinnati my dentist gave me 5's, and i had to take 2 for it to work, and i wasnt comfortable with so much apap, so i asked him for the 10's, and he gave them to me, a months supply. he was a very cool dentist, but how can i go to the dentist, and be sure to walk out with at least 30 perc 10's. i will need to see a oral surgeon, but will he give me perk 10's to hold me over til i see him?
I just need a straight story to tell him whats wrong, and hint to him that i need 30 perk10's. its the only thing to help. should i just come out and say,
"perk5s didnt work last time, and i had to take 2. can i just get perk 10's?"
im obviously going to tell him i need more amox too, just dont want to seem desperate on the p10's

are you trying to get a red flag? your reasoning is stupid and the dentist isnt a doctor so hes not going 2 give a fuck....damn dude youre lucky to even have THAT

yeah last time I had a tooth out the dentist gave me t3's and they didn't help at all with the pain and I called back and told him and he was like, too bad your not getting anything else, so this time I'll be glad to just get vicodins, which I WILL NOT pick my dentist until I'm assured that I will not get T3's again and be left in pain. perks? nah I don't think so.

i have always been givin perks coming out the dentist. especially leaving the oral surgeon after a root canal. maybe ur underestimating my situation. half my face is swollen and in pain due to the exposed nerve and infection. perk 5s are easy, 10s r different

my whole face is swollen I can feel it in my ear and eyes, and all through my mouth I have 4 teeth broken to the nerve and 2 of those are abscessed, and I can guarantee I will not get perks, all I got last time was T3's

Dude, I didn't even get more than Percocet 5mg when I had my wisdom teeth pulled. That is much more painful than most any surgery a dentist performers. I don't think any dentist would prescribe the 10mg Percocets. If anything they would just prescribe two 5mg. Your lucky if you even get that. Your already pushing it looking for higher doses of an already highly controlled substance.

Just say "Look man, this is America! Give me the percocet 10s so I can get really F-U-C-K-E-D UP!!!"

This should suffice.

First off, don't call them "perks" to your dentist. Say Percocet. And also I would dress as nicely as possible so you come off as a very respectful honest person. Sadly we get judged on how we look. And just be honest and say from past experienced the 10mg worked much better. However I do agree with everyone else that you should just be lucky he's even going to give you anything because by law he does not have to.

You don't want to come off as a druggie seeking drugs. So be as professional as possible when talking to your dentist. Hope that helps some. Good luck.

Dressing nice isn't going to get you a higher dose. You can dress as nice as possible but they won't be fooled if your seeking something.

It's true, whenever I wear my tailored suit, just like I came from work, to the docs or hosp, they give whatever I want....rock down in track pants and unshaven, they instantly assume your sourcing....sad but VERY true...

Wow.

I'm in the UK...I had 2 wisdom teeth pulled and was told to take paracetamol and ibuprofen. I spent 2 days with my head resting on a table with my face on a bag of frozen peas.
Same goes for my hubby who had root canal.

So i'd say, suck it up, take what you're given and think yourself lucky.

Hope this helps.

I got a 5 day supply of hydrocodone (20 tabs 5/500) when I had my wisdom teeth pulled and I didn't have to ask. Then I called the dentist after 5 days and said I am out of Vicodin and I didn't sleep one bit last night I was in so much pain. Refill (5 days worth of Vicodin). Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

haha ya well meanwhile if he doesnt like your opana request just ask him if he knows sum ese's with sum tar ya can smoke haha. In all seriousness like many have said before you shouldn't even push the fact you want 10's instead of 5's. The dentist will see right through you cause lets be real you want to get high and when ya tell him the 5's are dogshit immediately red flags will raise in his mind. Just be happy with the 25 or 30 5mgs he dishes out you could do much worse.

One doctor prescribed me Ibuprofen when I said I was allergic to them. Bitch ain't gonna get my business again.

Other one gave me Vicodin 7.5s, one refill, awesome dude! I am pleased with that.

Hydrocodone is better for pain if it helps. Oxy... well I never had it. :(
