I'm done..
center said:A white boy in the ghetto may constituite a reason for the cop to search. If he does, there's not much you can do.
burn out said:why aren't you allowed to drive without a destination? that seems incredibly stupid to me.
garuda said:I lived in an area considered a dangerous ghetto by the locals, I mean they will discriminate against you if you say you're from there.
And I can pass as white and I was the only person anywhere around that could, so I stood out. Never once did I get hassled by a cop, not once.
Why? I didn't stand out, as my girl said you dress worse then vagrants![]()
But this wasn't in the US, the US is another world akin to a police state.
I knew someone who had a police siren he could stick on top of his car(a white crown vic), and he would actually pull people over in the ghetto(Detroit), and take their drugs; pretending to be a narcotics officer. I believe he was beat so badly one time that he no longer messes around like that.yo_bot said:would you pull over for a random unmarked car claiming to be police in the hood? are they allowed to chase you in that kind of environment?

i don't believe this for one second. can you substantiate this?TheodoreRoosevelt said:You technically aren't allowed to drive without a destination, so always have a destination in mind (browsing for a gas station, looking for a place to eat, et cetera, is better than saying you're meeting a frieind).
TheodoreRoosevelt said:You don't say anything. The cops know why you're there, and if they don't, they'll assume it's nothing good anyways and not believe you.
Best to not say anything. You technically aren't allowed to drive without a destination, so always have a destination in mind (browsing for a gas station, looking for a place to eat, et cetera, is better than saying you're meeting a frieind).
Destination (even if it's false), name, and providing ID are all you need to do. Say no to searches, be firm, adamant, and polite.
Driving causes accidents, if you don't have a reason to be on public roads then don't be on them. It can be seen as a form of loitering.
