I'm well aware of how long drugs stay in your system.....
However, I'm a chronic pain sufferer and have misstimed my meds....
So my question is this :
The minute I take a pill (Tylenol 3) how long before it will register on urine screen....
I'm not trying to avoid it rather WANT it to show lol.
Pain Dr usually says take a urine screen for illicit drugs (Won't have any) but also will be clear from opioid.
I have 1 pill to show a positive test lol

I'm going to answer this because you are new. But BL doesn't allow drug testing questions.
Urine screens are designed to detect metabolites of drugs. To get metabolites in our urine we have to let the drug go through our system and our urine excretes the drug through our kidneys. Codeine's metabolites are morphine so even though you didn't take morphine...that's what the Dr. sees and expects this.
Codeine is a pretty short half life drug so you will probably have metabolites in your urine within 4 to 6 hours. So 4 hours before the test you should take your 1 pill. This is not exact science so don't take my word for it but you should be okay.
