Hi,
Im new to blu light - thought this would be an appropriate place to pose the question I had.
To paraphrase, try and clarify what I am asking - as the title of the thread had to be short handed.
What stereo-typical causal effect of a drug you use, do you think does not occur in your day to day life and well being.
I am more interested in why people would think that something does not occur like this... e.g. I smoke weed, however - I believe an honest answer to this question personally if i had to say about myself would be that it doesn't impair negatively or significantly in my life, it probably does - but in my mind its taken into consideration with relation to my diet and other risk factors - drugs/nutrients/sleep/stimulating activity/exercise etc.... It is my belief system that leads me to me saying that this is not a typical effect that pops up in my well being and day to day life.
Of course, it is probably hard to ever memorise and pin-down any real relation here but i am interesting in seeing how people label their own person drug use that they feel is responsible and/or irresponsible, for most i feel it is probably both! always a different frequency of both depending, but what are your beliefs about both?
I am thinking is that drug use in general, drug culture is a scientific attraction in the person (i am suggesting like a science to the self) towards something outside, a chemical or to a substance (or activity for self-indulgence, or self esteem) - e.g a high class degree or something, although i am not saying all people studying at a high level academia or who have passion for complicated science do it for esteem, i am saying there are probably a few (i am a student, i might be who knows...), how many and how significant... i couldn't say but i personally believe that's what the internet and a global village with connectivity is all about. So thats why i am here and look forward to hearing some anecdotes and I think this website is pretty interesting.
Peace x
