To you personally what song, or songs, best sum up the feel of the depths of your drug addiction? I would have to say mine would be Hurt by Johnny Cash or Eraser by Nine Inch nails.

Orestes - A Perfect Circle Perfectly sums up all my feelings towards my recovering Heroin addiction. The entire album "mer de noms" have been following me all the way throughout 14years of on and off addiction. Its a good listen when feeling down.

Hurt performed by Cash is actually written by Trent Reznor of The NIN.

I know Hurt is originally a NIN song, but in my opinion Johnny's version is the best, he has a full 5 decades of drug addiction and regret over Trent.

Tool and APC are great, I particularly love 3 libras. But Sober is perfect too. Weak and Powerless sums it up good too..

Alcoholic by Chanel West Coast,
Heroin by Velvet Underground,
and Gold Dust Woman by Fleetwood Mac (especially)

Dr. Opium
