What should you do if you accidentally shoot soda such as sprite into your veins?

My boyfriend accidentally used the off brand soda lemon lime to break down, mix, and draw up with a morphine 30 thinking it was water, he was drunk, and realized right after, when he was trying to clean the rig, and shot the rinse into his mouth and tasted the citric like syrup. He began shooting water, along with part of another morphine 30 to try and flush the syrup from the soda. He is complaining of his head hurting, his chest hurting, losing hearing in one ear, and his arm burning, but he said after the other shots he did, he began feeling a lot better. Is he gonna be okay? Any recommendations, or similar stories? I am really worried, I read on google after I did a search asking what the repercussions of it could be and read it could cause something happening to the brain and death. Please give me feedback asap.

Any updates on this? I would think the immediate worry would be if it was still carbonated or did the heating kill the bubbles. There are only a few mentions of people doing this around the place (one on this site in the archives) they used sprite and lived to tell the tale.

Obviously if your BF is unwell then seeking medical attention is the best advice. I hope he is ok
