what safety mesures do you use when buying H on the street

ask for the least possible the first time , if it's good come back , if they sell you fake shit you lost your money but that's it 10-20 Dollars (don't know the prices over there gone)'s gone , with time you will come to know some faces and they will know your face (street dealers will recognize a face real quick ) , once you know someone and trust their stuff you can start buying bigger quantities

I only bought crack and stuff like methadone on the street but guess it will be the same as with dope.

I ask for boy on the streets whenever I resort to copping from the street, yes. It's not something I like to do a lot, but I've been doing it for a few years on and off. You have to be in an area where you know it's sold pretty much. They might say they only got base and powder, or whatever. Then I ride until I see someone else. It's usually a go within the first three people.

I never let anyone in my car, as I have way too much to lose that way. If they need a ride down the block to get it, don't want to be seen, or whatever, then they need to take that shit somewhere else. I'm just trying to get my dope as quick as possible and I'm not trying to bullshit. If they're that sketched out then they don't need to be a street dealer.

It's relatively uncommon to be sold anything fake/highly cut if you go to the right areas around here. It happens, but a lot of street dealers around here are actually trying to build clientele. You're more likely to get something cut pretty bad than something completely fake (has only happened once to me) around here. You definitely want to be careful though. It's not like you can march up into the dope house with your bunk ass sack demanding some good if you do happen to get ripped.

If you've never copped there before, then only buy a bag or two, go somewhere to test quality, and go back later in the day or (even better) the next day at the same place to cop more. Some places you'll ask for a gram and get a .8 chunk, other places you'll get a 1.3 chunk. It just really depends on your area. Once a certain spot gets used to seeing your face then there is a certain trust established, and these are the spots I'll ride to when I want it bad enough to cop off the streets.

paraphernalia stashed, Chicago cops rarely give a fuck about paraphernalia
have eyes on the back of your head
never buy dub's
if it doesnt feel right leave

On foot -

Hood up
cash up my sleeve
extra cash stashed in my sock under my foot in my shoe
all paraphernalia stashed at a convenient pick-up spot
drink in hand, in case I need to swallow something
or extremely good stash spot, the hems on the bottom of your pants, if you rip a little slot I can usually get 10 bags slide in with-in 10 seconds.
head down, dont talk to anyone
eyes on the back of your head
watch out for stick-up kids or rather stick-up punks
I never bring a weapon your only asking for extra chages, besides you usually only have to worry about the cops, its a buyers market

Normal Dealer [no street deals]
No worries mon

I could go on and on, but those are my basics
 
it wouldn't be very smart to "catch up" with a street dealer

for obvious reasons.
 
i really have the biggest cravings for H and have no hook ups...

However i think its just way to risky to try to get stuff on the street even in a car... Im in Miami and the shit just is really scary...

Not only do i have to worry about cops but i gotta worry about getting mugged or killed

That's ridiculous. You write it off. It's not worth it, ever. Not around here anyways. Usually nobody is going to give you a phone number around here either. Not unless you've been copping from them for a period of time, and in my experiences it's better to let them offer it up. Asking for it either gets them sketched out, or causes other problems.

The sad thing is, I used to not give a fuck either. If I thought I was about to get ripped I would do a small line in front of the dope spot to assure myself I could get out and march up to whoever got me the shit and get some kind of justice. Good thing when this happened I never actually got ripped. I've had too many fucked up experiences since those days. I see things a bit different now.
 
yes what's 10-20 dollars compared to a life , an eyeball or a traumatic experience.

I think you are referring to a TR I posted. It has nothing to do with copping off the street, and the last part of that sentence is bullshit. :)

I'm totally down with the horror stories when copping off the street thread. I'm about to leave, so I don't really have time to post any now, but if someone wants to start the thread or whatever I'll post in it, or if no one does I'll start it later on when I get back.

Anyways, the experience BingeBoy is referring to was the most insane trip I've ever had. I'm lucky to be alive after that. Completely off topic, but here's the link.

and a guy going (the black guy who was sleeping in the car all the time ) 2 ways we can do this either scrap over it and he put a cap in the gun while saying it or something like that , you got ripped of i think , and you were selling like 2 sheets and more stuff , maybe it was someone else but somehow i was sure it was you who posted it.

well i searched i probably had a dream that settled itself into my memory or something , weird cause i can remember some bits like literal maybe a movie , nah really friggin sure i read it on bluelight and your old avatar i associate with it.

Ok, now that you mentioned the deal going bad, black guy in the car, me slingin, the 2 ways he said we could handle it, etc...yes this is a story I told a while back. You have a good memory. That was a very frightening experience. That's the time I got ripped off in Florida. I guess you could say that would fit into the horror story when copping category, but more like "horror stories when slingin on the street."

Hmmm... here where I am in Australia, it's nothing like it seems over in the States.
So, people are usually lapsadazey about copping off the street. The main concern is the Police or getting a dud deal (which has been happening alot lately)

If you're in the right areas, you won't even have to make eye contact with them to get a deal, they actually come up to you and whisper, "chasin?" which is slang for, "you wanna buy some smack?"
Doesn't appear to be that many muggings or bashings either. Most of the dealers are pretty serious about business, so they wouldn't want to jeapordise their street status.
Mainly Asians dealing on the streets too, and they'll have a partner or someone else to answer to, so they wouldn't dare pull anything shifty, because their superior(s) will just give them the ass, or not give them their next hit.

As I said before, cops seem to be the primary concern. That, or getting baking soda wrapped in a baloon.

I've only approached random strangers about half a dozen times for this purpose, and the ones that gave me a phone number turned out to be the most reliable, prompt dealers and ultimately were nice people. I have been ripped off a few times- getting a balloon with chalk inside, and those people offered me a false phone number- that is why I suggested getting a legitimate contact number. It's more a way to gauge honesty than a way to seek revenge if you get ripped off. I seriously would never go trying to pick a fight with some likely crazy street dealer over $100.

I would agree that most of the street dealers who have given me their contact numbers (maybe 3-4 total) have been the most reliable, but I'm just saying that around here it usually takes a little time to build up enough trust for that to happen. Usually they'll just tell you to come to the sme spot you're at, any time because they're almost always there. They want to make sure you're not a junky who is going to flood their phone with calls, trying to get something for nothing. They want to make sure you aren't a cop and have no association with them, etc...
 
A few people mentioned being prepared to swallow it, but no one mentioned having ipecac in your medicine cabinet at home so you can throw it up when you do get back. Its better to swallow it than go to jail, but if you do make it home those bags are usually wrapped pretty tight(swallowing the shit is definitely something the dealers are thinking about having to do and they want to lose product even less than you do). Most of the time you can swallow it and throw it back up with no problem, ipecac has always been a staple in the junkie households I've seen.
