You guys are seriously lacking details, like everyone knows how to cop. Some of us might have a better source than simply going down Shady Street.
Copping dope is definitely different in different cities/regions. Some cities are bigger than other big cities, and then there are those who "specialize" in dope (where that is most of what is around). If you live in a big city you're going to have more opportunity to buy on the street most likely. I live in Atlanta now, and in certain places downtown (many) you can ride for a minute and have five or six people attempt to flag you down or approach you within a block or two.
I lived in south Georgia before I moved here (small redneck towns) where it's very difficult to find dope. It's not impossible, but coke, crack, and ice/crank are definitely a lot more common, and you have to know the one or two places in town to go to cop dope, and for nice quality you need better sources than the street.
From my experience, in smaller towns it seems better to cop at night (be careful), but in bigger towns I would say during the day time (the earlier the better) because it's so much more hot at night. I can cop dope off the street around here at 7:00 AM every day if I want to. It's available 24/7 and I'll be approached. The same goes with bad weed (nothing I'd buy), crack, meth, coke, and sometimes beans around here.
I have to make no attempt to approach a dealer around here, as they come to me. In smaller towns there is usually a few places around town where it's the same, but sometimes if I saw groups of people standing around, or a single person just standing, I might slow down a bit before I get close to them and make eye contact. They know I don't belong down there, and they know what I'm tryin to get. If they have it, they'll engage me.
When they approach they'll usually ask what I'm looking for if they don't know me. I'll tell them however much boy I'm trying to cop, and they either have it on them and go ahead to do it, walk in and back out of a garage/house with it and come back to the car, or go tell whoever is holding how much I'm looking to cop, and they'll approach me. Usually close the deal with an "I appreciate it" , "Be good", "Later" or something. I know some of the people in certain areas and we have short conversations sometimes, but none of these kids are really friends and I try to speed up the process as much as possible.
When I'm leaving I either automatically put it down by the crotch (taped, tied, or whatnot), in a secret compartment inside of one of my shoes, or in one of two secret compartments in my car. If I get pulled over and don't have much I'll swallow it in a second. I can't waste too much money though, and with some trips that just isn't an option. It's hidden extremely well on these trips.
